The Follow-up Study Of332Elderly Patients With Helicobacter Pylori Eradication Therapy

Background:In recent years the high rate of helicobacter pylori infection causedwidespread concern,Hp infection is global distribution.It is estimated that,about morethan50%of the world’s population infect HP,but different countries, regions ordifferent people infection rates are different.Long-term follow-up study found that,ourdepartment old patients with higher Hp infection rates,some of them have infectedseveral times,Hp eradication therapy repeated many times. So how effect of repeatederadication therapy about our department patients,the gastric mucosa have anypathological change before and after anti-Hp eradicative therapy.This experiment willlook in this.Objective: To discuss the curative effect and the gastric mucosa pathologicalchange before and after anti-Hp eradicative therapy of332cases of helicobacter pyloriinfection elderly patients with many times eradication.Methords:1.To collect332elderly patients with positive helicobacter pylori from1990tonow who diagnosticated,treatmented and long-term followed-up in our department.Allcases should accord with the collection standard.2.To calculate the statistical rate of eradication respectively all of patientsrepeated many times of eradication of Hp,and to analyze the statistical significanceand make conclud.3.To add up cases take the same position of gastric mucosal tissue for biopsiesbefore and after treatment, do queue comparison between the eradicator and noteradicator group, observe inflammation changes,add up the rate of eradication andpathological change before and after treatment and analyze the results with statistics,analyze the statistical significance and make conclud.Results: 1.332patients were performed the first eradication therapy,117patients wereperformed the second eradication therapy,16patients were performed the thirderadication therapy,eradication rate of three times respectively:63.6%(211/332),76.1%(89/117),81.3%(13/16). Three eradication rates are statistically significant (P<0.05). The rate of Hp eradication of treatment increased time and time,but can’t ruleout there are function of strengthening drugs and extending treatment time.2. The eradicators’ microscopical histological chronic inflammation conditionand active inflammation degree were significantly improved than not eradicator. Therate of pathological changes was34.7%before and after treatment.Conclusion:1.To eradicate Hp timely and effectively for elderly patients with Hp infectionand eradication indication is necessary.To adjust regimens individually whenrepeatedly over and over eradicated.using quadruple regimens, extending thetreatment time for two weeks, it is may be beneficial for improving the rate oferadication.2. It should actively Hp eradicate for Hp correlation gastritis patients, it is one ofthe important link in chronic gastritis cure, it can control symptoms, preventrecurrence, and have important clinical significance.
