Objective:To observe the effect of Electro-acupuncture(EA) at "Shangjuxu","Quchi","Tianshu""Dachangshu" on intragastric pressure of rats with normal,excited and inhibited gastric m otility respectively,and explore the characteristic and mechanism of acupuncture in regulati ng gastric motility in different states.Method:To establish inhibited and excited gastric motility model rats(two groups in each mo del) through intravenous injection M cholinergic receptor angonist ACh,antagonist Atropin e and β2adenoreceptor angonist Clenbuterol,antagonist Propranolol,and record intragastric pressure by fixing an balloon into sinus ventriculi,then observe the effect of EA at "Sha ngjuxu","Quchi","Tianshu","Dachangshu" on intragastric pressure of rats with normal,e xcited and inhibited gastric motility respectively.Result:①In normal condition rats,EA at "Shangjuxu","Quchi" can both remarkably increase intragastric pressure(P<0.01),while EA at "Tianshu","Dachangshu" can both remarkably decrease intragastric pressure(P<0.01).②After intravenous injection Atropine,intragastric pr essure decreased,EA at "Shangjuxu","Quchi" can both remarkably increase intragastric pr essure(P<0.01),while EA at "Tianshu","Dachangshu" can even decrease intragastric pressu re(P<0.05).③After intravenous injection ACh, intragastric pressure reinforced, EA at "Sha ngjuxu","Quchi" can still promote gastric motility(P<0.01), while EA at "Tianshu","Dac hangshu" can both decrease intragastric pressure significantly(P<0.01).④After intravenous injection Clenbuterol,intragastric pressure decreased, EA at "Shangjuxu","Quchi" can both remarkably increase intragastric pressure(P<0.01),while EA at "Tianshu","Dachangshu" c an still depress intragastric pressure(P<0.05).⑤After intravenous injection Propranolol, intr agastric pressure reinforced, EA at "Shangjuxu","Quchi" can still excite gastric motility (P<0.05), while EA at "Tianshu","Dachangshu" can both inhibite intragastric pressure sig nificantly(P<0.01).⑥There were differences in effect quantity of the same acupoint among different gastric motility states.In two inhibited gastric motility model groups(Atropine a nd Clenbuterol),the excitation change rate of EA at "Shangjuxu","Quchi" were both high er than normal group, the inhibition change rate of EA at "Tianshu","Dachangshu" were both lower than normal group. In two excitation gastric motility model groups(ACh and Propranolol), the excitation change rate of EA at "Shangjuxu","Quchi" were both lower than normal group, the inhibition change rate of EA at "Tianshu","Dachangshu" were both higher than normal group.Conclusion:①In all different gastric motility states,EA at "Shangjuxu","Quchi" can both increas e intragastric pressure and promote gastric movement,probably by activating vagus nerve efferent pathway.EA at "Tianshu",’"Dachangshu" can both decrease intragastric pressure a nd inhibite gastric movement,probably by activating sympathetic nerve efferent pathway.A cupuncture at some acupoint may present unidirectional effect, probably relating with aut onomic nerve efferent pathway of acupoints area.②There were differences in effect quant ity of the same acupoint among different gastric motility states.In inhibited gastric motilit y state,the regulating effect of EA at "Shangjuxu","Quchi" were both significant,while in excited gastric motility state,the regulating effect of EA at "Tianshu","Dachangshu" wer e both notable.It is concluded that the effect quantity of acupuncture probably have close relationship with body condition.
