ObjectiveThis study is to observe the effect of acupuncturing back-Shu and front-Mu points for treating liver-qi stagnation and phlegm stagnation Type Hyperplasia of Mammary Glands and search a more effective treatment. And it shows that different choices of acupoints in the same stimulation for the same disease have different effects. It’s meaningful to improve the effect of treating Hyperplasia of Mammary Glands.Methods60patients who met the inclusion criteria of liver-qi stagnation and phlegm stagnation type mammary glands were chosen from the First Affiliated Hospital in Guangzhou University Chinese Medicine in acupuncture clinic and breast surgical clinic and they were divided into treatment group and control group30cases in each. Treatment group and control group received electroacupuncture therapy. Treatment groupused shu-mu points Ganshu (BL18), Qimen (LR14), Danzhong (K14), Jueyinshu (BL14), Danshu (BL19), Riyue (GB24), Pishu (BL20), Zhangmen (LR13)as main points coordinated with Jianjing (GB21), Neiguan (PC6), Zusanli (ST36), Sanyinjiao (SP6). Control group used common acupoints Danzhong (RN17), Wuyi (ST15), Rugen (ST18), Qimen (LR14), Taichong (LR3) as mainpoints coordinated with the same points to the treatment group. Two groups of patients were treated once a day three times a week menstrual suspended. A menstrual cycle is a course of treatment continuous treatment of three courses. Record the score for each patient before and after the treatment establish database and use SPSS19.0to make statistical analysis. ResultsIt showed that Baseline data of two groups were not statistically significant (P>0.05) and two groups were comparable. Clinical symptoms of two groups improved after treatment and there was statistical significance (P<0.01) compared with before treatment. And the improvement rate of accompanying symptoms of treating group is higher than control group and there was obvious difference in statistics.(P<0.01)ConclusionsTwo treatments for liver-qi stagnation and phlegm stagnation Type Hyperplasia of Mammary Glands of two groups are effective. And the method of acupuncturing Back-Shu and front-Mu points improved accompanying symptoms better. Back-Shu and front-Mu points can dredge qi of yin and yang and regulate the balance between yin and yang so it’s used widely. Because of minor specimen and shortage of long-term observation the further research is needed. |
