Background and purpose: Ovarian cancer is one of the three common which is serious threat to women’s lives and health. Ovaries are deep in the pelvis and early lesions are not easily found, so once the symptoms are mostly late. Ovarian cancer should be highly vigilant. Ovarian cancer incidence in Gynecologic malignancies is in third place, while the mortality rate is ranked first, which is about epithelial ovarian cancer,90%of ovarian cancer, the five-year survival rate hovers around30%In recent years, the incidence of epithelial ovarian cancer in China is rising, and tend to be younger.Therefore Researching the factors of affecting the occurrence and metastasis of ovarian cancer and interfering with its implementation has been a research hotspot in recent years. OPN (Osteopontin, OPN) is an extracellular matrix sialic acid-rich secreted glycosylated phosphoprotein, in many human tumors are highly expressed and is closely related to Growth, proliferation, invasion and metastasis of tumor cells. Integrin αvβ3RGD structure combined with OPN to OPN receptor synergy. These two proteins in the tumor tissues was positively correlated with both mutual coordination and jointly promote tumorigenesis and development. In this paper, the method of immunohistochemical detection of osteopontin and integrin αvβ3in normal ovarian tissue, benign ovarian tumors and epithelial ovarian cancer in the expression and the pathology of epithelial ovarian cancer stage, clinical stage and histologicalthe relationship between the type, to further investigate the occurrence of the two proteins in epithelial ovarian cancer, the development of the relationship, to provide theoretical support for the assessment of epithelial ovarian cancer, the degree of malignancy and clinical prognosis.Method:Collection of Sino-Japanese Friendship Hospital of Jilin University, Changchun City Cancer Hospital January2010December to2011a total of100cases of ovarian tumor specimens, including20cases of normal ovarian tissue; benign ovarian epithelial tumors of20cases;60cases of epithelial ovarian cancer including serous adenocarcinoma,30cases,20cases of mucinous cystadenocarcinoma endometrioid carcinoma in10cases. Of OPN and integrin αvβ3in the60cases of ovarian carcinoma positive expression rate of75.0%,63.3%.3Increased, with the clinical stage of OPN and integrin αvβ3positive expression rates increased OPN in advanced ovarian cancer, the integration degree of positive expression of αvβ3in higher than early ovarian cancer, statistically significant differences (P<0.01); poorly differentiated ovarian cancer OPN and integration of αvβ3in the positive expression was significantly higher than well-differentiated ovarian cancer (P<0.01); between different histological types of OPN, integrin αvβ3expression level of statistical significance (P>0.05).4OPN and αvβ3integrin expression in ovarian cancer was positively correlated.Conclusion:1OPN and integrin αvβ3may promote the occurrence of epithelial ovarian cancer development, invasion and metastasis.2OPN and integrin αvβ3expression was positively correlated with increased osteopontin expression may correspond to upregulation of the expression of integrin αvβ3. 3Combined Detection of OPN and integrin αvβ3in significance for the clinical assessment of epithelial ovarian cancer diagnosis and transfer can be used as an important indicator to monitor the degree of malignancy and prognosis of epithelial ovarian cancer.
