| Objective:To prospectively study the survival of patients with remenant malignant cerebral gliomas after postoperative combined with chemotherapy(ACNU)after exposure to Gamma Knife treatment.Methods:From2007to2010,60postoperative patients with malignant cerebral gliomass were treated and they were divided into three groups, each including20cases. One group was treated by surgery before Gamma Knife treatment with given marginal dose14~30Gy, the second group was intrathecal admixture service with chemotherapy(ACNU). the other group was combined with chemotherapy(ACNU)after exposure to Gamma Knife treatment with given marginal dose14~30Gy.Results:The1,3, and5year survival rate of the three groups of patients were61%,29%,11%and54%,22%,6%and75%,51%,21%.respectively(χ2=4.02, P=0.043). And the median survival time Was16,14and36months, respectively. Conclusion:Given concurrent Gamma Knife treatment postoperatively, the survival rate could be enhanced in patients with remenant malignant cerebral gliomas. combined with ACNU should be an effective chemotherapeutic scheme. |
