| Elaeagnus mollis belongs to the genus elaeagnus, theelaeagnaceae family. Those plants have survived from the Fourth IceAge and are distributing in the southern of Shanxi Province and HuCounty, Shaanxi Province. However, they are endangered now andhave already become national level protected plants. With higheconomic value and research value, the tree itself is a treasure and isrich in flavonoid except for polysaccharide, alkaloid and terpenoidscompounds. Flavonoid has multiple structures and effect, which is tomake elaeagnus mollis have a bright future in the field of medicineand food. In order to make the most use of the wild plant resources, elaeagnus mollis, using its leaves as materials, we have researchedthe stability of flavonoid in its leaves and its structure identificationas well as its application. The results are as follows:(1) Using spectrophotometry, we have tested the changes offlavonoid’s absorbent density under different conditions and thusdrew a conclusion that different conditions have different effect on flavonoid’s stability. The results show that: flavonoid has the beststability at 50℃; NaCl has the less effect on it, the same as Sucrose;excess acid or alkali has a great impact on its stability; cyclodextrincan protect the stability of flavonoid; these metal ions such as Mg2+,Cu2+, Zn2+and Na+have less impact on the stability of flavonoids, while the Fe3 +and Fe2+,Ca2+affect its impact higher.(2) Using the color reaction and fluorescence response to identifyelaeagnus mollis’leaves, we have finally found out that the leavesmay contain 5 kinds of flavonoids, that is, flavanone, flavonols, favones, chalcone and homoiso flavones compounds. Through thepolyamide, macroporous adsorption resin and dextran gel columnchromatography separation and purification technology, three kindsof flavonoids monomer initially have been isolated from elaeagnusmollis’leaves. According to the Infrared spectroscopy, three kinds offlavonoids contain phenol-OH C-N and N-H ( aromatic )vibrationabsorption peak.(3) Using flavone extract, which is from Elaeagnus mollis Diels leaf,to deal with soya bean and mung bean etiolated seedlings has showedthat these two etiolated seedlings can absorb the flavone extract andmake some changes in the vegetative and growth aspects. Theflavanone processing seedling enhances the bean sprouts flavanonecontent, reduces its starch and the dissociation amino acid contentand causes the soluble sugar and the soluble protein content hasincreased. |
