| Backguound:Constrictive vertebral fracture (CVF) is a common fracture, and it heads the list in rachis fracture. With aging of population and the rapid development of Modern industry and carrying trade in our country, the incidence of CVF is increasing.It is familiar to find constipation in the early stage of CVF. If it is not resolved in a timely manner is bound to seriously affect the outcome of fractures and process. Currently the treatment of gastrointestinal dysfunction, western medicine for gastroin testinal decompression, bowel enemas and the application of kaisailu oral gastrointestinal drugs for gastrointestinal motility. This type of gastrointestinal dysfunction disorders are caused by CVF which belongs to the Chinese medicine "abdominal distention caused by injury" and "damage caused by constipation" category. But Western medicine therapy alone not enough satisfaction. For dealing with this type of complication of gastrointestinal dysfunction, Chinese traditional medicine has a wealth of experiences and the occupies an important position in. Dominated by oral Chinese medicine conservative treatment with combination of traditionnal Chinese and Western medicine approach is of great signifi-cance. Chinese herbal medicine granule is nearly20years to appear in a new dosage form, which is following the basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) guidance, and use in modern pharmaceutical tech-nology preparation of granules. Chinese herbal medicine granule with a combination of flexible, compatible function quick, content fully exact, health and safety, and other adventages, and effectively solve the tradi-tional Chinese medicine tisanes, medication, carrying, save inconvenience etc. Patients and their relatives are easy to accept. ObjectiveTo evaluate objectively the clinical efficacy of YujinYaoshangGranule on treatmenting early complications of CVF, so as to treat other TCM syndrome with similar etiology and pathogenesisMethodsTo select patients with CVF strictly based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. In the patient group divided into herbal medicine group and control group under the principle of random. Herbal medicine group use of oral YujinYaoshangGranule combining comprehensive treatment method. The control group use western medicine treatment of symptomatic conventional treatment. Respectively in patients before treatment and after treatment on scoring,and made into scale for comparison.ResultsScreening patients with CVF who were in hospital from April2011to December2011in the orthopedics part two of ZhuHai Hospital of Guangdong Provincial TCM Hospital. Yang ming fu shi syndrome patients with type of78cases. According to randomized methods are classified into two groups. Gastrointestinal symptoms of observation data is the more significant differences (P<0.05). The curative effect of herbal medicine group was better than control the control group.ConclusionIn the early stage of CVF prone to different degrees of dysfunction of gastrointestinal symptoms. The main symptoms of Yang ming fu shi syndrome includs dryness, solidness, stuffiness and fullness. In the clinical use of YujinYaoshangGranule to ease the Yang ming fu shi syndrome of early fracture appear a satisfactory curative effect. The study concluded that YujinYaoshangGranule can effectively improve the patients of gastric bowel function. And it can alleviat patients abdominal distension, constipation clinical symptoms, improve the quality of life of the patients, promote the recovery of fractures. Chinese herbal medicine granule is an improvement on the traditional decoction of Chinese medicine, and the embodiment of standardization and dose of herbal drugs. Chinese herbal medicine granule is not only easy to use but also easy to save, is the embodiment of the modernization of traditional Chinese medicine. |
