| ObjectiveAs the study object in this dissertation is using the acupoints thermal moxibustion coordinate with convention acupuncture to treat cervical spondylotic radiculopathy to investigate the acupoints thermal moxibustion involvement convention acupuncture whether if it will affect the treatment result of the cervical spondylotic radiculopathy, and provide clinical the practice utilization and the curative effect appraisal of reference for the acupoints thermal moxibustion in treating cervical spondylotic radiculopathy.MethodWe will comply with the diagnosis standard on cervical spondylotic radiculopathy60cases of patients, according to order which successively examines for the first time, will observe the case with the stochastic tables to divide into the treatment group (hot sensitive moxibustion union convention acupuncture)30examples and the control group (conventional acupuncture)30examples. Both groups will be treated once a day. After a course of treatment which lasts for six days, rests for a day. There are two courses of treatment. To quantify and score on patients’ signs and symptoms before and after treatment and examine each group of patient’s ache improvement situation by using the short form McGiLL questionnaire.ResultsFor4cases fall off, the treatment group and the control group left28cases each. General information on pre-treatment compared with two groups of patients gender, age and course, difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05). The two groups were comparable. The score difference of the short form McGiLL questionnaire before and after the treatment, the treatment group and the control group has the significant difference after statistics processing (P<0.05), suggesting that the acupoints thermal moxibustion coordinate with convention acupuncture can relieve pain better and curative effect more apparent. In terms of quantitative clinical symptoms and signs of scoring, two of which (Finger pain and discomfort and Feeling) before treatment, there were statistically significant differences in treatment group compared with the control group (P<0.05). It would not make the comparison. The treatment group compared with the control group after treatment:the treatment group and control group were able to signi f icantly improve patient Spur ling test, muscle and tendon reflex. But after statistics processing, the difference of two groups was not statistically significant (P>0.05), therefore two groups of curative effects were similar. While the shoulder and neck pain and discomfort, upper limb pain and numbness, work and life skills and hand function, there were statistically significant differences (P>0.05). Therefore, compared with convention acupuncture in treating cervical spondylotic radiculopathy, the Acupoints thermal moxibustion coordinate with convention acupuncture had more significant efficacy in the treatment of shoulder and neck pain and discomfort, upper extremity pain and numbness, work and life skills and hand function. In terms of clinical efficacy part, the cure rate of treatment group was78.57%, while the control group was46.43%, it showed statistically significant difference (P<0.05). The total effective rate was96.43%in treatment group and89.29%in control group, which has significant difference statistical significance (P<0.05). It suggested that the treatment group was better than the control group no matter on cure rate and the total effective rate.ConclusionAcupoints thermal moxibustion coordinate with convention acupuncture that can significantly alter the nerve root-type cervical spondylopathy of clinical symptoms and signs and has good effect on pain has better therapeutic effect than regular acupuncture in treating the cervical spondylotic radiculopathy. Because of the convenient operation and exact curative effect, there are broad prospects for clinical application of acupoints thermal moxibustion, which can be implied the standardized operation and carried out easily. |
