Objective:Objectives To explore the clinical significance of the whole blood platelet CD41and CD61variation for children with Kawasaki disease (KD) at acute period and convalescence. Methods:Twenty—five children with Kawasaki disease collected in Shan xi medical university in pediatrics department from January2009to December2009were divided into treatment before (acute phase) and after treatment (convalescence phase), and sixteen normal children were chosen as controls. The expression of CD41, CD61was measured by flow cytometry.2D—echocardiogram was used to observe KD groups of heart coronary artery, these groups were divided into coronary artery injury (CAL) group and the non-coronary artery injury (NCAL) group. Results:Kawasaki disease children at acute phases compared with the controls, had significance in statistics. CD41and CD61at convalescent phase compared with the controls, had significance in statistics (P<0.05); There was no significant difference in CD41expression acute phase of KD and convalescent phase (P>0.05). The expression of CD61acute period was higher than in convalescent phase had significance in statistics (P<0.05). There was significance in statistics between the expression level of CD41in coronary artery lesion group and that in non-coronary artery lesion group(P<0.05), but there was not significance in statistics in the expression level of CD61(P>0.05).Conclusions:Expression of platelet CD41and CD61has an important value in the judgment of KD early diagnosis and vascular lesions.
