Objective To investigate the expression of IGF-1and Annexin A1of medial rectus in optically induced concomitant extropia in kittens. To explore the role of IGF-1and Annexin1in the occurrence and development of concomitant extropia. Methods fifteen kittens were devided into two groups random:experimental group and control group.Nine xperimental kittens were fitted with optical prims glasses. Based on the durition of wearing glasses, experimental group were divided to Aã€B and C three groups.Taken the Experimental and control kittens’s medial rectus after the firstã€second and third months respectively. Observation medial rectus morphological performance after HE dyed.Immunochemical method measured the mean optical density according to the expression of IGF-1and Annexin1in medial rectus. To statistics the average light density values among groups.Resultsâ‘ The expression of IGF-1were lower in experimental group than control group, mean optical density are0.300±0.012ã€0.265±0.038and0.195±0.028.respectively. Compared with controls, they were significant differences (P<0.05).â‘¡The expression of AnnexinAl were decreased in experimental group.Compared with controls, the difference waas statistically significant (P<0.01).â‘¢The expression of IGF-1and AnnexinAl are decreased gradually in experimental groups, they were significant differences (P<0.05).â‘£The expression of IGF-1and AnnexinAl have no notable variation, there is no statistically significant(P>0.05)Conclusion The lower expression of IGF-1and Annexin1in strabismus cats may participate in the incidence of concomitant extropia; With the duration of wearing optical prims glasses prolong, the level of IGF-land Annexin A1is decrese gradually, we consider it may be the cause of generation and development of concomitant extropia. And wearing optical prims glasses can be useed as a experimentsl method to make strabismus animal model. |
