| Objective:To explore the relationship between the level of serum1,25(OH)2D3andoxidative stress in patients with diabetic nephropathy.Methods:175subjects were enrolled, including75patients with diabeticnephropathy(DN group),50patients with diabetes and without nephropathy (DMgroup)and50healthy subjects(NC group). DN was defined as urinary albumin-to-creatinine ratio (ACR)≥30mgï¼g.75DN patients were divided, according tourinary excretion rate, into microalbuminuria group (EDN group),macroalbuminuriagroup(CDN group). The level of serum MDAã€SODã€CATã€GSH were measured byspectrophotometer assay. The level of serum1,25(OH)2D3were tested by enzymelinked immunosorbent assay. Results:The level of serum1,25(OH)2D3in DN group were significantly lower thanin DM group (10.13±1.02vs16.20±1.06, P<0.05). Compared with DM group andDC group, the level of MDA were significantly higher in DN group (P<0.01).Still,there were significant differences between different groups of DN patients. The levelof serum SOD,CAT,GSH in DN group were significantly lower than NC group andDM group (P<0.01). The level of SOD,CAT,GSH in CDN group were significantlylower than EDN group (P <0.05). The level of CAT,GSH in ESRD group weresignificantly lower than CDN group (P<0.05). The level of serum1,25(OH)2D3wasnegative correlation with UAE in DN group (r=-0.452,P<0.05).The level of serum1,25(OH)2D3were significant positive correlation with the level of SOD,CAT,GSH inDN group(r=0.286,P<0.05; r=0.390, P<0.05; r=0.671,P<0.05). The level of serum1,25(OH)2D3was negative correlation with the level of MDA(r=-0.330,P <0.05).Conclusions:There is lower serum1,25(OH)2D3level in DN patients in comparisonwith diabetes patients and heathy subjects. The oxidative stress is enhanced in DNgroup in comparison with DM group and NC group. The Level of serum1,25(OH)2D3may be correlate with oxidative stress in patients with DN. |
