ObjectivesTo explore the correlation between the serm HBeAg titer and the intrahepaticinflammatory and fibrosis in patients who were HBeAg positive.MethodThe clinical data of137patients who were received histopathological detectionsthrough puncture biopsy from2005to2009were collected. Hepatitis B e antigen(HBeAg) was quantified by microparticle enzyme immunoassay and otherlabouratory tests were accessed too. Then analyse the correlation among age, sermHBeAg titer, hepatitis B virus (HBV) DNA, alanine transaminase, aspartateaminotransferase and the intrahepatic inflammatory and fibrosis.ResultPositive correlation was found between the serum HBeAg level and HBVDNA.And the one who with the intrahepatic expression of HBV core antigen havehigher HBV e antigen quantitation and HBV DNA titer in the serum. The sensitivityand specificity of HBeAg titer predicting the intrahepatic expression of HBV coreantigen is surper than HBV DNA,with the area under the curve0.716,P=0.000. Thereis negative correlation between the intrahepatic inflammtory histological grading andthe quatitative of HBV e antigen in137cases, the similar relationship was foundbetween the serum HBeAg qutitation and the fibrosis stage too. HBeAg titer issuperer than the alanine transaminas, aspartate aminotransferase in predicting theintrahepatic inflammatory, with the sensitivity and area under the curve76.31%and0.716,P=0.000. The positive correlation was found between the alanine transaminaseand the intrahepatic inflammatory, aspartate aminotransferase and intrahepaticinflammatory, aspartate aminotransferase and fibrosis stage. No relation was found between the alanine transaminase and fibrosis stage.ConclusisionsThe serum HBeAg level and the HBV DNA level can indicate the intrahepaticexpression of HBV core antigen. The HBeAg titer is surper than HBV DNA inpredicting the HBcAg expression. The serm HBV e antigen titer can reflect theinflammtory histological grading in the one who was HBeAg positive. The sensitivityand the area under the curve are all higher the alanine transaminase and aspartatetransaminase The serum HBeAg qutitation and the aspartate transaminase can reflectthe fibrosis stage. |
