Objective To investigate the safety and effectiveness of fast trackprogramming in colorectal surgery.Methods Retrospective analysis of clinical data of217colorectal cancerpatients in Xiamen First Hospital in2011. We introduce the concept offast track surgery:no overnight preoperative fasting, no routinemechanical bowel preparation, no routine inserting nasogastric tube,epidural anaesthesia or analgesia, early postoperative oral feeding,earlyambulation.125patients who received gastrointestinal operation and weretreated with traditional ways were divied into control group(opensurgery),and other92ones without routine ways according fast tracksurgery rules were divided into trial group(laparoscope surgery).Wecompared their time to flatus,and the ratio of postoperative complicationincluding intestinal obstruction,wound infection, pneumonia andanastomotic leak.Result Compared with control group,the time to flatus was advanced intrial group (P<0.05).And other postoperative complications were of nodifference in the two groups. Fast track surgery that combined a varietyof new technologies and new ideas form has played a role to promote therapid rehabilitation of the colorectal cancer patients, the promotion ofthe surgical philosophy of change and improve the overall quality of playpositive role in promoting.Conclusion It is safe and feasible in colorectal carcinoma fast tracksurgery,Patients will benefit from less complications and early dischargefrom hospital,and with no increase of the operative risk.
