| Objective: This study aimed to through the synchronous ribbon arch appliance inpermanent dentition skeletal class III malocclusion, study on maxillofacial soft tissuechanges, in order to enrich the skeletal crossbite non operation treatment method.Materials and methods: select the Affiliated Hospital of Fujian MedicalUniversity Department of orthodontics treatment of class III malocclusion patientswith osteoarthritis in11cases,7cases (male four premolar extraction in2cases),4cases were female, age12-21years old, the average age of14.5years, using the fullsynchronization ribbon arch appliance for correction, the shortest correction thecourse was10months, the longest treatment time of18months (tooth extraction)average treatment time of14.5months, before and after treatment with cephalometricfilm, X-ray cephalometric analysis, study the synchronous ribbon arch applianceorthodontic treatment in permanent dentition skeletal malocclusion clinical effect.Results: all patients with anterior crossbite lift, cover overlying normal, midlinecenter alignment, posterior occlusal good, soft tissue profile improved significantly,basically reach the type face type.The average correction time is14.5months after thetreatment, SNA increased (P <0.01), ANB increased (P <0.01), U1-SN increased (P <0.01), L1-MP decreased (P <0.01), UL-SnPg increased (P <0.01), LL-SnPgdecreased (P <0.01), UL-SnPg-LL-SnPg by correction of the mean for after treatmentis average (P <0.01), there was significant difference between. Conclusion: the synchronous ribbon arch appliance orthodontic treatment ofskeletal malocclusion, aligning leveling off clearance simultaneously, effectivelysaves the treatment time.The treatment is mainly through the mandibular anteriorteeth compensatory movement, and a small increase in maxillary forward growth,rapid limited correction of permanent dentition period skeletal malocclusion afterorthodontic treatment, soft tissue profile improved obviously. |
