| This research under currently existing experimental conditions, takes one introduced varietyof Kentucky bluegrass from America and one native variety of Kentucky bluegrass in Heilongjiangas tested materials. Field resistance to mowing test, researched on growth, physiological responseand changes of turf quality evaluation of each kinds of Kentucky bluegrass by different mowingheight and mowing frequency. Provide the theoretical basis and scientific evidence for thedevelopment of the country turfgrass resources, cultivate new varieties of state-owned and itsapplication and popularization on the future. Obtain the following conclusion:1. Mowing on the grass can reduce the leaf width, leaves became narrow of each mowing group. In the same mowing frequency, leaf width of two variety of Kentucky bluegrass more narrowwhen mowing the lower height, leaves of two grass were narrowest when mowing height on1cm. When mowing the same height, the frequency higher, the leaf width smaller. In thisresearch, the leave width was the narrowest when mowing every2days. So, in the appropriaterange, the mowing height was lower, the higher the frequency would been trimmed, the strongerthe promoting effect of leaf blade narrow.2. Tiller number and density were increasing by mowing. At the same frequency level, thelargest tiller and density increase of two variety of Kentucky bluegrass in3cm tall. The orderof the tiller number and density were3cm>1cm>5cm>7cm>9cm>CK. At the same height,The order of the tiller number and density were mowing each4days>6days>2days>8days>10days>12days>CK. Under the same mowing, tiller and density of Blacktiger weremore than Kenblue.3. Two variety of Kentucky bluegrass roots length became long after short with mowing elapseof time. At the same mowing frequency, stubble1cm height roots decreased maximum,3cmroots of the recovery ability was the strongest. The same stubble height mowing each2daysof the root system to reduce the most, mowing each12days reduced the least,6d of the rootsystem restore the strongest ability. Within limits, mowingcan accelerate the root growth. 4. The average rhizome length and internode length gradually with the increase of processingdays get shorter. In cutting processing, two varieties under the same mowing frequency ofrhizome and rhizome internode average length increases with the increase of the stubbleheight; In dealing with the same mowing height or mowing frequency, Blacktiger decreasedless than Kenblue, the rhizome of Blacktiger changed a small range.5. Mowing reduced aboveground and underground biomass, increased the root-top ratio of twovariety of Kentucky bluegrass. Two varieties in the same mowing frequency of abovegroundand underground biomass with stubble height increased; root-top ratio in the stubble heightwas3cm in maximum,9cm at least. At the same mowing height, aboveground andunderground biomass were decreases with the mowing frequency increase; root-top ratio ineach4days trim once when maximum,12days trim minimum. The same mowing treatment, biomass of Blacktiger was less than Kenblue, root-top ratio were greater than Kenblue.6. Mowing Kentucky bluegrass was beneficial to soluble sugar and starch accumulation. TwoKentucky bluegrass varieties each mowing group of soluble sugar content change trend were, with mowing time increased at first, then decreased, and starch content increased afterdecreases. At the same mowing frequency, the two substances reached the highest content in5cm of mowing height, at the same height, the content of mowing each6days were the highest, each mowing processing content were higher than those untreated. Two substancesaccumulation of Blacktiger higher than Kenblue, so, In mowing conditions, for the twosubstances, accumulation ability of Blacktiger was stronger than Kenblue.7. In mowing conditions, two varieties of Kentucky bluegrass of soluble protein content hadsmall amplitude increases, at the same mowing frequency, the content of3cm height werehighest, mowing each6days of the same mowing stubble height had the highest content.Blacktiger and Kenblue by mowing, the former soluble protein accumulation role better thanthe latter.8. Chlorophyll content, SPAD value and index turf color of Kentucky bluegrass influenced bymowing, these three indicators were reflect the turf color change in the apparentquality.Trends are basically identical. In the early days of mowing, chlorophyll contentdecreases, and turf color became weak, with the increase of the growth days, chlorophyllcontent were increased and turf color became darker. When two vatieties of Kentucky grassin mowing frequency for5days, stubble height3cm promoed the chlorophyll strongest;Mowing height on3cm, frequency for6days increased the most and turf color was thedarkest. The chlorophyll content and turf color of Blacktiger better than Kenblue.9. Mowing can improve the turf quality, two Kentucky bluegrass the pruning process after thelawn ornamental quality is better than pruned the lawn, in the same mowing frequency,Blacktiger and Kenblue stubble on3cm turf quality were best. In the same mowing height, Blacktiger in trim frequency of mowing each4d showed the best turf quality, Kenblue inmowing each4days and6days mowing frequency had the same quality score. Taken together,Kentucky bluegrass mowing frequency for5days, stubble height keep on3cm can improvethe quality of the lawn. Stubble height on3cm, mowing frequency in mowing each4~6dayscan maintain a good quality of the lawn.Integrated different mowing height and frequency factors influence on turfgrass of differentvarietiys of Kentucky bluegrass turf quality, determine under the condition of reasonable mowing, turf quality of blacktiger was better than Kenblue. |
