This paper is based on the excellent indigenous tree species selections in coal mine subsidence land of shendong mining area, selected the Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bge. of9different provenances and the nutritive cup seedlings of Ar Khorchin Banner, through the field experiment and laboratory experiment to studied its growth suitability and salt tolerance, the paper make some mainly results as follows:(1)The status and seed kernel content of the Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bge. of Kundu forest farm in Ar Khorchin Banner were better, increased of46.66%and140.01%respectively. The Xanthoceras B.’s kernel oil content of Red Mountain in Ongniod Banner and Kundu forest farm were best, reached69%.(2)Synthetic evalution by subfunction of all provenances Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bge. that Kundu forest farm’s adaptability was best, which was the ideal bioenergy species. The Szejesfegervar’s nest and the zhudaigou’s was the worest.(3)On the salt stress, the result showed that, the height and the proximal stem diameter of Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bge. are all restrained, RCM of Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bge. increased with the stress gradient’s increase, the MDA content in leaves was increased in different degree and the Chl content was decreased, indicated the harm plants suffered under stress. Meanwhile, the contents of SS and POD were increased was the results of plants combating the stress.(4)Synthetic evalution by subfunction of salt stress, showed that the Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bge. had the salt tolerance, could bear the maximum salinity concentration of NaCl was0.4%and the NaHCO3was0.6%.
