Cloning And Bequence Analysis Of The GIF Gene Of Contagious Ecthyma Virus

A pair specific primer were designed and synthesized according to the published GIF(GM-CSF inhibitory factor) gene sequence of NZ2strain of Contagious Ecthyma virus in Genbank. The GIF gene of the Inner Mongolia isolate starin(OV-nm-05) of Contagious Ecthyma virus was amplificated with the primer by PCR.It is cloned into pEASY-T1plasmids and sequenced. The GIF gene sequence of OV-nm-05strain was compared with7reference CEV strains.The result indicated that the GIF gene sequences homology of OV-nm-05whith OV-NZ2、V-D1701、 OV-IA82、 OV-SA00、 OV-F07.808R、 OV-MUK59/05and OV-F94.848R was95.7%、98.2%、96.7%、95.5%、95.9%、95.5%、95.1%respectively,and the GIF animo acid sequences homology was95.1%、90.2%、95.1%、94.7%、94.7%、95.1%、93.6%respectively.The results showed that OV-nm-05strain had high homology with the7conference CEV strains.
