Salix is a species of advantage shrub widely distributed in Kubuqi deser, with resistance to drought, wind erosion, sand buried and growing fast. It has significant benefits of windbreak and sand fixation and water and soil conservation.This study in2011, experiment on the the Erdos areas Kubuqi Salix. Adoption of new technology research salix growing status of length and number of trees per hole Salix. Screening of Salix appropriate slope position, length and number of trees.The experimental results showed that:(1)In the planting process, Salix different lengths require different amount of water, the cuttings need to water the overall trend is growing bigger and bigger,60cm cuttings need water0.88L,110cm cuttings need water1.48L.(2) Increased with increasing length, the length of the upper, lower and bottom part of the windward slope of Salix cuttings with Salix bud numbers, the new shoot length, the survival rate and growing season Salix total branch number, the new branch length, a new branch diameter, plant height and crown showed a linear correlation relationship. From the Salix~germination, survival and growth perspective, windward slope of the appropriate length of Salix for the110cm. The lower part of the leeward, bud number and branch length were most obvious advantage in90cm and100cm. But with the increase of thickness of sand burial in the growing season, the surface of the high temperature burns lead to bud death.(3) Of Salix Meixue pairs of trees bud number and new branches length better than the single plant. In the survival rate of each slope position of the mobile dunes survival rate per hole single plant than pairs of trees, in addition to the leeward. In the growing season, per hole single plant, total branch number, branch length, branch diameter, plant height and crown width were significantly greater than the per hole pairs of trees, in addition to the leeward.
