Porcine Proliferative Enteritis is a pig infectious disease caused by Lawsonia Intracellularis is characterized by diarrhea and hematochezia. The disease is global epidemics, and has formed a major influence on global pannage benefit. Suspected cases have shown a tendency to increase in the domestic pig farms. Therefore, understand the morbidity of PPE, research the diagnosis methods and clinical prevention and control measures are of important significance in promoting the healthy development of the pig industry and improve feeding benefit.In this study, survey the infection status of the PPE farms by proceed anatomy, LI detection of feces, blood LI antibody test and other means on clinical diarrhea pig from a large-scale pig farm in Jiangxi.In the june of2008, around60kg fattening pig onset of disease in the farm. At the beginning of the disease pigs feed intake reduced, watery diarrhea, feces were yellow water samples and then black asphalt sample, Part of the pig body temperature increased. Two days later, the incidence of pigs increased rapidly. In this case of epidemic,60-90kg pig about40%of the disease, case fatality rate of about30%. Collecting78feces samples for PCR detection of Lawsonia Intracellularis, as a results,61of the feces were positive,positive ratios was78%;meanwhile, collecting64ileum samples in disease or death pig for PCR detection of Lawsonia Intracellularis, in consequence,59of the samples were positive, positive ratios was92%;120of142feces or ileum samples were positive, positive ratios was84.5%. Blood collection from30-180days commercial pigs, antibody testing in PPE and swine fever.The result shows that the pigs of different ages’PPE and swine fever antibody level are quite a difference; CSF antibody level from80%in30days to30%in180days, shown a tendency to decrease;but PPE antibody level is zero before60days, and after then began to rise.60%pig blood of90days were positive in PPE antibody, and more than80%pig blood of120-180days were positive in PPE antibody.In order to explore an effective way to control PPE, this experiment research in compare the prevention effect on the two methods of PPE oral vaccine and medicine (Aivlosin) control PPE in the farm.It turned out that:The vaccine inoculation group inoculated32days later,80%of the pigs antibody level is positive.The rate of detecting Lawsonia Intracellularis is low from90days,120days,150days pig, and only one120days was detected. Preventing group by Aivlosin in95days, PPE antibody level in some of the blood samples was positive, indicating that these pigs have been infected Lawsonia Intracellularis; Lawsonia Intracellularis were detected in the feces of90days,120days,150days.The control group in65days there are three PPE antibody positive blood sample,and then PPE antibody-positive ratio is higher and higher, indicate that more pigs only inflected Lawsonia Intracellularis. The statistical result of weight gain and feed conversion rate in test pig show that on the same experiment time period, the ileitis vaccine group per head average growth weight higher than the control about4.7kg, the preventing group by Aivlosin per head average growth weight higher than the control about0.98kg. The statistical result of feed conversion rate indicates that the preventing group by Aivlosin is lowest, among them the ileitis vaccine group is2.71, the preventing group by Aivlosin is2.68, the control group is2.78. The results of this experiment shows that the swine ileitis oral vaccine can effectively prevent the PPE.
