| Taking Rizhao City as an example, the ornamental value of145perennial flowersintroduced in Rizhao City were evaluated on basis of field survey. Rudbeckia hirta, Coreopsisbasalis, Hosta plantaginea, Hemerocallis fulva, Iris tectoru and Physostegia virginiana wereused as materials in this study, and the six perennial flowers are planted widely in the area.Couple of indexes, such as the relations between the salt resistance and the seed germination,the appearance, physiological and biochemical changes under salt treatment, and the saltresistance of assessment were studied. The aim of this paper is to establish the perennialflowers appreciation evaluation system in Southeast Shandong coastal, and provide scientificbasis for the promotion of the perennial flowers in the area.The main results were shown as follows:1. Accroding to the characteristics of the perennial flowers,16appraisal indexes areselcted and a multifactoririal appraisal system based on the Allalytic Hierarchy Proeess isdeveloped for the aim of getting the ornamental value of the Perennial flowers,and16appraisal indexes of the Perennial flowers are analyzed through Analytic HierarehyProeess(AHP). Aeeroding to the multifactoririal appraisal system,145Perennial flowersintroduced by Southeast Shandong Coastal Botanical Garden are judged by this way andmakes satisfied results, which are an important and seientific foundations for the garens greenin Southeast Shandong Coastal.2. With the NaCl concentration increasing, the seeds relative germination rate of ofRudbeckia hirta, Coreopsis basalis and Physostegia virginiana were decreased, while theaverage germination time of seeds were increased. These results indicated that salt stress caninhibit the seeds germination rate of the three plants.3. Observations of six perennial flowers’ appearance indicated that: higher concentrationNaCl stress (≥0.4%) obviously inhibited plant growth. Partly leaf wilting and yellowing, andother symptoms were found in the earlier stage, while leaf margins brown, severe leaf lossingin the later stage, and even Physostegia virginiana death occurred under1.00%NaCl stress.4.The results showed that under salt stress, Chl a, Chl b and Chl (a+b) content decreasedin six perennial flowers. With the NaCl concentration increasing, SOD and POD activities ofsix perennial flowers leaves were increased at first then decreased. CAT activities of Iris tectorum leaves were increased with the NaCl concentration increasing, while the index of theother5plants were increased at first then decreased. MDA content of Iris tectoru,Hostaplantaginea and Coreopsis basalis leaves were increased with the NaCl concentrationincreasing, while the index of Rudbeckia hirta, Hemerocallis fulva and Physostegiavirginiana were increased at first then decreased.5. The results of six perennial flowers osmotic adjustment substance in salt stressindicate: with the NaCl concentration increasing, the change of soluble protein and prolinecontents are different. The Na~+content of the six perennial flowers leaves increased with theincreasing of NaCl stress.6. Measuring and utilize the fuzzifying mathematics membership function law to endurethe salt rating to six perennial flowers, and the result of rating makes known that the sixPerennial flowers salt is: Iris tectorum>Hemerocallis fulva>Hosta plantaginea>Rudbeckiahirta>Coreopsis basalis>Physostegia virginiana. |
