| Garlic is not only international loved health vegetables, but also an important seasoningand pharmaceutical raw materials. In china, it is an important raw material and exportvegetables. With the increasing market demand for garlic, and the main producing areas of theland area is limited, but even for garlic production will lead to its decline, even as obstaclesarise, which has become a large-scale production of garlic in a serious problem to be solved.In this study, in order to investigate the mechanism of continuous cropping of garlic andprovide the scientific basis for easing garlic cropping obstacles, we have studied continuouslycropped garlic from two aspects: first, influence of continuous cropping garlic onmorphological index and physiological and biochemical index, such as height, pseudostemdiameter, leaf sheath length, leaf area, chlorophyll content, photosynthesis characteristic,protection enzyme activity, and so on; second, EM help relieve cropping obstacles of garlic.The main research results were summarized as follows:1. In short-term (5years and10years), the number of morphological index andphysiological and biochemical index increased significant, such as height, pseudostemdiameter, leaf sheath length, leaf area, chlorophyll content, photosynthesis characteristic,protection enzyme activity, and so on; But in long-term (15years and20years), garlicmorphological index physiological and biochemical index declined, and garlic yield weredecreased significantly, continuous cropping obstacles was obvious. Therefore, years ofcontinuous cultivation of garlic should be controlled better in10years. At the main producingareas, there were long-term continuous cropping of garlic, we can regulate rhizospheremicrobial environment garlic healthy development by some measures. It is to provide areference for future research and direction, the production of garlic also has some practicalsignificance. 2. Compared with the control, EM (Effective Microorganisms) helped improve thenumber of morphological index and physiological and biochemical index, such as height,pseudostem diameter, leaf sheath length, leaf area, chlorophyll content, photosynthesischaracteristic, protection enzyme activity, and so on; and garlic yield were increasedsignificantly, This shows that EM helped improve structure of rhizosphere microbial ofcontinuously cropped garlic, promote beneficial microbial activities and normal reproductionand inhibit harmful pathogens growth and reproduction, regulate of physiological metabolicfunctions crops, improve crop yields and improve crop quality. So EM can effectivelyalleviate the garlic cropping obstacles. |
