The region of Hubei north-central is the main producing areas of the single cropping medium rice, it plays an important role in rice production. At present, there are many varieties of hybrid medium rice, and the childbearing ages exist different significantly. Meanwhile, the climate change, water shortages and stubble season of contradictions etc. result in many kind of seedling ages. There are lots of distinctions of the No. of basic seedlings for the planting when varieties mature stage type and seedling age size have a large difference. And reasonable number of basic seedlings is the starting point of the group development that finally affect the yield of rice. To this end, the purpose of this test is to be proven perfect number of basic seedlings for high yield when the different childbearing age of varieties and seedling ages there are, and establish relational model among the variety growing periods, seedling ages and basic seedlings, provide a theoretical basis for practice. The area of this test locate in Junchuan, Suizhou. My test selected three varieties, and then we set four seedling age processing (28d,35d,42d,49d), each seedling age processing set three basic seedling levels. The main results are as follows:(1) Liangyou234, FengLiangyou1st and Yangliangyou6th, tillering time will be shorten along with seedling age increasing. But when the seedling age increased to a certain extent (42d-49d), tillering time experienced in field will be stabilized. Planting time was delayed for seven days, the childbearing age of rice increased1-3days.(2) In the jointing stage, the LAI of28d,35d and42d seedling age increased with the increase of basic seedlings. To the heading stage, the LAI of big basic seedling treatment were less than small basic seedling treatment. From the jointing stage to heading stage, the LAI of49d seedling age increased as the basic seedlings adding.(3) The different basic seedlings treatment in the same seedling age showed that total DM at booting had a higher accumulation, the maturity total DM will be greater. If the contribution rate of total dry matter accumulation at booting stage for the maturity over55%, production declined.(4) Seedling age treatment had significantly infect for soild pikelets per panicle, grains per panicle and panicles, but no significant impact on1000-grain weight and seed-setting. As the seedling age extension, soild pikelets per panicle and grains per panicle increased, panicles declined. Basic seedling treatment impacted seed-setting and panicles remarkably. When the planting seedling age is28d,35d and42d, the panicles of small basic seedling treatments were higher then big basic seedling treatment, panicles will be adding as seedling age increasing for49d seedling age. The seed-setting also showed the same trend.(5) As seedling age increasing, BBR, MRR, HMR and AC declined significantly, but CP, CN and PC increased. Performance of basic seedling on the quality of rice for the28d,35d and42d was that B3treatment of BBR, MRR, HMR and PC was lowest, and AC was highest. But for49d seedling age, increasing of basic seedling, BBR, MRR, HMR and PC had increased trend, and AC had declined trend.(6) The relational model of basic seedling, seedling age and childbearing age were Y=-12.05000+0.03333X1+0.41190X2, Y=69.40000-0.60000X1+0.56429X2and Y=183.84000-1.40000X1+0.76000X2, corresponded to the varieties of Liangyou234, Fengliangyou1st and Yangliangyou6th, in which the Liangyou234of the relational model achieved a significant level.
