As the main body of urban ecological environment, urban greenbelt can effectively improve theurban ecological environment, and the spatial character of urban vegetation landscape is one of the mainfactors to affect the ecological function of urban greenbelt. The aim of this research is to use GIS andtheories of landscape ecology in three subdistricts in Yinzhou district of Ningbo city as example ofanalysis urban greenbelt landscape pattern.This research collected the remote sensing image data, related words, pictures and other data ofstudy area, combined with field investigation to classify the urban greenbelt, and finally accessed theinformation of urban greenbelt in study area. In accordance with the principle of landscape ecology andresearch methods, the application of ArcGIS9.2software and landscape analysis software Fragstats3.3,this paper based on the extraction of greenbelt information in Yinzhou District to analysis and estimategreen landscape pattern. The results show that:(1)The study area green space assort into six types, such as public green land, protectivegreenbelt, public construction green land, traffic greenbelt, residential green land and agriculture greenland. The total green area is1807.91hm~2.The greening rate of Shounan Subdistrict is46.15%, thegreening rate of Zhonggongmiao Subdistrict is23.17%, the greening rate of Zhonghe Block is21.08%.The area proportion of Shounan Subdistrict’s green space construction is higher, and theecological benefit of green space is much better.(2)The greenbelt patch level on the types of the study area is a notable difference, pubicconstruction green land, residential green land and traffic greenbelt mostly are small patches, thegreenbelt patch level of protective greenbelt is medium-size, and agricultural green patches are mainlylarge patches.That illustrates that the greenbelt patch level and the function of the green space is closelyrelated.(3)The fragmentation level of the study area and the function of the green space is closely related,agriculture green land whose function is production has a lower fragmentation level, such as ShounanSubdistrict, the FI is240.16.And entertainment for the main functions of public green land, residentialgreen land, public construction green land have a higher fragmentation level, such as Zhonghe block,the FI is10913.54,that illustrates that the more frequent of people’s participation, the higher of the fragmentation level.(4)In the space relationship analysis, the solitary of agriculture green land and protectivegreenbelt is much higher, and the solitary of other green land types is much lower, ENN_MN is within10m; the green space aggregation degree are above90%except traffic greenbelt, that illustrates that thegreenbelt has significant effect of aggregation and advantageous to green ecological environmenteffect.(5)In the moving window and buffer analysis, the green space distribution of Shounan subdistrictis more reasonable, but the service range of public green land is small, the area rate of buffer area in500m is29.78%; in Zhonggongmiao subdistrict the area rate of buffer area in500m is49.08%, butthe green space is mainly concentrated in the southeast, in the northwest green construction level isrelatively low; the green space distribution of Zhonghe block is more scattered, and is conducive toalleviate the urban heat island effect, but has a relatively small proportion of green space.
