| Alfalfa is sensitive to acid soils which is one of the main limition factors of planting alfalfa in the southern China.To clarify alfalfa alumite mechanism, grasping the acid aluminum ability of Authorized alfalfa varieties, this study compared the seedling growth of the three different fall dormancy varieties of alfalfa at acid aluminum stress with Hydroponic method, and established a method for evaluating, establishing the evaluation index method, acidity and aluminum ion processing level, clearing the alfalfa acid photosynthesis of physiological mechanism. On this basis, the acid and aluminum tolerance of22major alfalfa varieties were evaluated. By analyzing the Alfalfa root length, plant height, aboveground biomass, belowground biomass, root volume and leaf area et al, the main conclusions were as follows:(1) Strong acid inhibited the alfalfa’s growth and weak acid promoted its growth; pH=4is the limiting point for the growth of alfalfa acid proof limit, pH=6is the optimum acid condition for alfalfa growth under hydroponic conditions; In different fall dormancy levels of alfalfa, the sequence of acid proof is CUF101(FDR9)>AB1700(FDR6)>Maverick(FDR1).(2) The toxic effects of Al3+for Alfalfa varieties enhanced the toxic effects with the lower pH value was smaller than6, and the toxic effects were intensified with increasing concentration of Al3+the aluminum ion is the main factor inhibiting the growth of alfalfa if pH>4; Three different fall dormancy rate of alfalfa varieties in Al tolerance order is CUF101(FDR9)> ABI700(FDR6)> Maverick (FDR1).(3) The Acidity tolerance of22major alfalfa varieties were evaluated at the pH=4processing conditions, The results showed that among the22alfalfa cultivars, there were five acid varieties, six amedium acid varieties, and eleven no acid resistance varieties; in which acid-resistant varieties and medium acid alfalfa varieties, only Huaiyin alfalfa and Shanbei alfalfa belong to China, and the rest of alfalfa varieties were all introduced species. (4) Al tolerance evaluation of22major alfalfa varieties were evaluated at the pH5+30mg/LAl3+handling. Two alfalfa cultivars were resistant to aluminum, four varieties were more resistant to aluminum, six varieties were middle-aluminum-resistant and the rest ten varieties were intolerant of aluminum; among those varieties of Alfalfa in our country, only Huaiyin alfalfa, Xinjiangdaye alfalfa and Shanbei alfalfa were more resistant aluminum and middle-aluminum-resistant varieties, the rest were in tolerant of aluminum species. |
