Study On Forest Nature Reserve Management Categories Classification

As the construction target of nature reserve has changed from "quantity-oriented" to "quality-oriented ". the classification management system of China’s nature reserves, which is suitable for China should be drawn up and improved as soon as possible.In this paper, the World Conservation Union (IUCN) protected area classification system as a reference, combination of the actual of forest nature reserve construction in our county, Functional position of the nature reserve, the primary and secondary function to the nature reserve played for main classification basis. Nature reserves of different category of management objectives and management measures, which carved out of the nature reserve management category. National Forest Nature Reserve as a sample, divided its management category.The main conclusions are as follows:1) Build the forest nature reserve management category of indicator system, including eco-system protection features, rare and endangered species protection features, ecological regulation functions, and function of eco-tourism features and bio-availability of resources function of23indicators2) Application of AHP in combination with expert consultation to determine the weights of the index system, drawing on the golden section theory, classification and assignment of the index data; five function score, divided into strong, a bit strong, intermediate and poor four levels.3) Proposed three principles of the forest nature reserve management category. Based on the functional classification of Nature Reserve, and three principles, the Forest Nature Reserve is divided into five management category, including, Strict Management Nature Reserve, Species/Habitat Management Nature Reserve, Ecological Security Management Nature Reserve, Nature Park Management Nature Reserve, Biology Resource Management Nature Reserve.Proposed the definition management objectives and management measures of each category of Nature Reserve.4) National Forest Nature Reserve as a sample, classification of the174National Forest Nature Reserve.53which Strict Management Nature Reserve,63which Species/Habitat Management Nature Reserve.12which Ecological Security Management Nature Reserve,35which Nature Park Management Nature Reserve,11which Biology Resource Management Nature Reserve.
