The urban forest is an important component of urban ecological environment and an important means of ecological city and forest city construction. Efficient performance of the urban forest ecosystem function depends on its reasonable spatial structure. The studies on urban forest landscape pattern contribute to a comprehensive grasp of the spatial structure of urban forest, which targets the urban forest ecological network construction and gives full play to the urban forest ecological service function.This paper takes the region within the Second Ring Road in Jinan City as the research object, with RS and GIS technology for support, by using2010SPOT image as the main data source, by visual interpretation, to get the city forest classification diagram and the corresponding geographic information database. Besides, the paper uses Fragstats software to calculate the landscape index, and makes the quantitative analysis of the urban forest landscape pattern in the study area, and on this basis, proposes the construction of forest ecological network of Jinan City. The results show:1. Jinan overall urban forest landscape pattern analysisJinan urban forest cover within the Second Ring Road area reaches15.79%. which can play a sound ecological function. On the landscape level, city forest patch type is complete, the number of patches is smaller, fragmentation degree is bigger, various types of city forest area exist difference, large patch holds a dominant position in the landscape, and the same kinds of patch is highly connected. On the level of patch types, ecological and public welfare forest is dominant in the landscape, with large patches; scenic and relaxation forest is mainly large and medium-sized patches, and the shape is more rules; road forest and affiliated forest are dominated by small patch, degree of fragmentation in a large, complex shapes, a large extent by human disturbance; management forest is lack of. only for a6.2477hm2patches. 2. Jinan urban forest landscape pattern gradient analysisOn the level of patch types, ecological and public welfare forest is mainly concentrated in the southern city, and patch area is larger; scenic and relaxation forest is the largest number of the forest recreation area in the city center, which is the dominant type; road forest is in larger fragmentation, which reaches its maximum value in the city center and has better building conditions in the city center:affiliated forest gradient does not change obviously and has the larger degree of fragmentation.On the landscape level, in the city center patch density is greater, indicating the city forest fragmentation degree is bigger and the distribution of the most dispersed. Landscape shape index also shows a similar trend, indicating a larger extent by human disturbance in the city center, landscape shape is the most complex; Shannon’s Diversity Index, Shannon’s Evenness Index and Patch Richness Density show that urban forest type is rich and that diversity is highest in the city center and Second Ring West Road and Second Ring North Road; Aggregation Index indicates that urban forest is highly connected in South-Eastern city, and that patch area is larger.3. System construction of urban forest ecological network system in JinanOn the basis of the urban forest landscape pattern analysis, according to city forest ecological network theory and landscape structure optimization theory, the paper puts forward an urban forest ecological network system with one circle, two nets, three areas, four lines, multi-place, and forms the urban forest structure of forest-water integration.
