It is generally believed that efficient irrigation technology can reduce water waste in agricultural industry. Sprinkler irrigation is the very efficient one. Venturi fertilizer injector is an important component of sprinkler system which is easy-operated and low cost. It is worldwide used because it can lessen fertilizer consumptions and increase crops output. Nowadays, Sprinkler irrigation technology has made a long-stride progress, but researches and applications of Venturi fertilizer injector is of lack. There are many problems which require immediate solution, therefore studys on fertilizing effect of this injector not only can boost the development of injector areas, but also will propel the whole Water-saving irrigation engineering to a new level.This paper gives a relational expression on venturi tube parameters and fertilization concentration based on CFD(computational fluid dynamics) software Fluent. Firstly, a simulation method to analyse venturi fertilizer applicator should be set up and testified by fluid mechanics theory and experiment results. Subsequently, several models are set and simulated through this method, which obtain a result about three typical parameters (shrinkage angle, augment angle and throat diameter) effect over fertilization performance. Finally, the relational expression is deduced by numerical analysis through those results.The simulation and numerical analysis give4results.1st is that throat pressure and differential pressure is of linear relation. Then the differential pressure of inlet and outlet is the most important external condition affected fertilization performance, because the throat pressure can alter fertilizer flux easily.2n is that fertilizer flux and total flux will change while altering parameters, but the fertilier flux changes more severely, so the fertilization concentration also will change when altering parameters.3rd is that shrinkage angle, augment angle and throat diameter are all remarkable factors which can affect fertilier flux and fertilization concentration, and the throat diameter is the most important one while the shrinkage angle is the Least one.4th is that relational expression of fertilization concentration and parameters is y=0.113+0.0788a-0.248β+0.0106d1. And the best value range of shrinkage angle is23°~29°, augment angle is7°~11°, throat diameter is5≤d1≤0.6d when the inlet pressure is16kPa.
