| This paper present the effect of treatment of substrate formulas, root growth promotingagents, water retaining agent’s adding methods and quantities, chemical root-controling’sconcentrations on biomass, quality-morphology, quality index and some other physiologicalindicators of seedling of Pinus tabulaeformis Carr which was the main afforestation species inBaotou city, Inner Mongolia. Some important experimental results were got and showed asfollows:â‘´Substrate formulas had significant effect on seedling cultivation. Compared the effect ofthe eight kinds of substrate formulas on growth of seedling, quality-morphology and otherphysiological indicators of seedling treated by No.3substrate (nursery soil: turfy soil: the shellsof hulless oat=1:0.5:0.5) were better than other seven kinds of substrates. No.3substrate wasmost suitable for container seedling of Pinus tabulaeformis Carr.⑵This paper studied the effect of treatment of the species and concentrations of chemicalroot-controling on root growth of seedling. It was found that seedling treated by NAA0.5g·L-1ã€ABT1g·L-1and NAA+ABT1g·L-1had remarkable effect on its root growth that had moredeveloped root system, stronger and a greater number of lateral root, higher root activityincreased by20%than treated by CK, and also owned more hairchested ground diameter, highercontent of nutrients, stronger resistance capacity.â‘¶This paper studied the effect of treatment of water retaining agent’s adding methods andquantities on growth and development of seedling. Results showed that the quality-morphologyand other physiological indicators of seedling treated by soil-mixed1g·kg-1and dipping the root5g·L-1were better than others. In addition, treatment of soil-mixed1g·kg-1was easier and moreeconomic in operation so that this was taken primarily.â‘·The effect of treatment of chemical root-controling’s concentrations on growth anddevelopment of seedling was also investigated. Copper carbonate which concentration was120g·L-1had significant effect on growth and development of seedling that obvious groupphenomenon of root system was observed. Meanwhile their number of lateral root and rootactivity (increased by48.99%) were much better than treated by CK. Cold resistance of seedlingtreated by copper carbonate which concentration was120g·L-1was better than others. |
