Study On The Color Characteristics And Its Conservation Of Modern Historic Building In Guangzhou

Since the20th century, human civilization is developing fast, people are enjoying the generous material gains due to the rapid progress of technology and rapidly boost of productivity, at the same time, people also suffer the negative effect of science technology which is the "double-edged sword", regional culture and traditional culture have been severely disrupted. Modern historical buildings as an important part of traditional culture in a city, and the color as an important manifestation of modern historical buildings, protection of modern historical buildings facade color becomes imminent, much attention has been paid to the modern historical buildings in Guangzhou. Based on this, this paper aims to analysis the color characteristics of Guangzhou modern historic buildings, discusses the current problems that exist in the modern historical building facade color protection, and puts forward to protection suggestions.First of all, First, sorted out the basic theory of colors, from physical geography and human geography to expounded color geography theory; At the same time,historic building protection principles which are generally recognized both at home and abroad as the theoretical basis, provided theoretical premise and foundation for research.Second, selects typical representative of modern historical buildings in Guangzhou: Shamian buildings and Dongshankou villa, analyzes the facade color in detail, summarizes building facade color characteristics, provided objective basis for protection of modern historical buildings.Then, the paper elaborates the natural environment and humane environment color in Guangzhou, and analyses the reasons for the formation of Shamian buildings and Dongshankou residential buildings color characteristics from two aspects which are geographical factors and human factors, in order to that provide more in-depth and comprehensive basis for protection or restoration of modern historic buildings’color.Finally, bases on Shamian and Dongshankou as an example, summarizes the present existence question of facade color protection about modern historical buildings in Guangzhou, and proposes the suggestion of facade color protection:integrity principle, the principle of sustainability, to strengthen the color education, popularize knowledge of color. Then according to the existing protection methods of modern historical buildings facade, combines with unique geographical location and cultural background in Guangzhou, puts forward to repair method of Guangzhou modern historical buildings color, provide a reference for color protection of Guangzhou modern historical buildings.
