The truss plate connection has been one of the most frequently applied approaches in wooden structure truss system. Identification of the mechanical properties for truss plate node has a vital role to ensure the strength of the entire wooden structure, stiffness and stability. Being referenced by related regulatory requirements, the experimental research of Chinese hemlock, Larix gmelinii and SPF truss plate node has been taken in order to promote the localization of the wooden structure.Tensile tests in2different conditions have been carried out focusing on the node of SPF, Larix gmelinii and Chinese hemlock truss plate, based on the requirements of’the design of timber structures Appendix M’. Teeth ultimate bearing capacity and tooth anti-slip carrying force of the above3nodes acquired from the experiment has been compared. Experiments of Chinese hemlock truss plate have been carried out in4different conditions. The empirical formula of bearing capacity and displacem2nt of Chinese hemlock truss plate node has been established by the reference of international existed model. The empirical formula of Chinese hemlock truss plate node has been compared with that of SPF and Larix gmelinii.The results show that:Under the2different conditions, the ultimate bearing capacity, tooth anti-slip bearing capacity and node ductility of Chinese hemlock are significantly superior to the imported SPF. That of Larix gmelinii was significantly higher than the import SPF. The performance of Chinese hemlock truss bearing capacity has been measured. So does the ultimate bearing capacity and anti-slip bearing capacity in different angles of hemlock. By comparison, the best way of choosing parameters in Foschi equation has been determined. The empirical formula in2force conditions of hemlock truss plate node is recommended, based on model of Foschi theory. By comparing the formula proved that, whether in the elastic stage or the elastic-plastic stage, the carrying capacity of the Chinese hemlock are stronger than Larix gmelinii and SPF.
