Drum-type mixing reclaimer, one of the key manufacturing equipment to mix the bulk rawmaterials such as iron ore and coals,in the steel corporation and the coal mine enterprise’s roleis indispensable. With the development of world’s industrilization as well as the continuousdevelopment of the iron and steel industry, drum-type mixing reclaimer has become the mostimportant raw matericals conveying equipment. It has directly influence on the productiveefficiency due to its working efficiency, safety reliability, automation degree.So far,domestic bridge-type bucket wheel reclaimer owns100~1500t/h production capacity, it has20~40m span. Meanwhile, the first drum-type mixing reclaimer which company ore fieldblending yard used,and be modelled on foreign models,be designed and manufactured byHarbin Heavy Machinery Plant, become the first one which has a production capacity of1500and about40span.Firstly, the paper expounds that3D model of the rakes and hoppers and related structure fordrum-type mixing reclaimer which company use be constructed. Secondly establish the finiteelements models of rake hopper and related structures, the finite elements model must have apre-processing and static analysis and transient analysis, we can obtain the stress and strainnephogram of rake and hopper. Then by analyzing solving result of rake finite elementsmodel and technological process of the rake’s reciprocating motion, optimizing the rakestructure, we can get a rake which could be have more tensional capacity, and achieve thepurpose that less vibration of mixing reclaimer when the rake have reciprocating motion byreduce the rake’s weight. We use AutoCAD to establish drawing of process that hopperreclaim materiel from the parameters of foregone hopper and technological process, andoptimize the structure of the hopper, so that the hoppers get more materiel and could be moreefficient,and we have a less weight hopper. We can validate the prioritization scheme isviable through calculate the ideally material’s area parameter which in the hoppers by thesoftware. Finally, we get the prioritization scheme from the optimization results of the rakesand hoppers, and have an outlook of future.
