Steel staggered truss system is a kind of relatively novel structure, Which in the construction layout flexibility, engineering cost economy, construction of environmental protection and superior resistance to shock caused the people’s extensive attention. This paper mainly completed the following work:1. Steel staggered truss system flexibility by force behavior researchThrough a teacher apartment space model, this paper investigates steel staggered truss elastic stress behavior, including the structure of the static performance and dynamic performance. Summed up as follows:Under vertical loads, there is steel column and web member main bear axial force and chord main bear bending moment, which has a certain regularity. In the lateral horizontal loads, Steel staggered truss system layer displacement is significantly less than the limits of specification. At the same time, In order to avoid torsional vibration mode of the early appearing, we should add to column bracing in the structure of longitudinal.2. Feasibility of MPA methodBased on the traditional POA method on the basis of faults, the paper introduces in details the MPA method structural dynamics principle, the formula deduction and implementation steps. MPA method is able to consider higher modes for the influence of the structure of the more accurate than traditional POA method. In order to validate the feasibility of the method of MPA, this paper uses MPA methods to analysis teacher apartment plane model of the seismic performance. We use nonlinear time history analysis results as the criterion. The results of the two methods are relatively close. We find steel staggered truss system plastic hinge development sequence:chordâ†'web memberâ†'steel column.3. MPA-based method of staggered truss seismic performance influencing factors analysisThis paper focuses on the use of MPA method to investigate seismic performance of steel staggered truss system in severe earthquake. The seismic performance of the structure are affected by the there are many factors. This paper will be to cut from the following several aspects:Node stiffness、hollow section spacing、the underlying truss layout、Truss form、the truss form of truss span depth ratio and the structure of high aspect ratio and so on. Found through the comparison of the models:along with the node stiffness reduction, the structural displacement response increases, the energy consumption capacity significantly improved; Hollow section spacing decreases, structure height to width ratio decrease, truss span height increase of steel staggered truss system seismic performance had different degrees of improvement. We should try to avoid plane truss design into hollow type and Priority should adopt the hybrid truss; Bottom truss landing will help steel staggered truss seismic performance improvement. We can also set the truss underlying shear walls in areas of high intensity.
