As one of the best accepted dynamic airflow, the simulated natural windis used to be an important method of making the indoor air environment morecomfortable and healthier. More and more researchers have realized itsadvantage like dependability, easiness, high energy conservationpotential.etc. However, the current request of constant air conditioningcontrol is no sensible airflow in workspace. Research indicated that simulatednatural wind supplied in the neutral-warm environment could not onlyimprove occupants’ thermal sensation, but also avoid uncomfortable draught.It is a new air conditioning method which is more comfortable and energyconservation. Besides, the individual air supply could be applied at the sametime. In that case, the occupants could operate the device themselves andeveryone would be satisfied in deed.And then, one kind of new individual dynamic air supply device wasR&D in this article. The experiments were done both in a climate chamberand a real office. Two kinds of airflows, which are the constant mechanicalwind and simulated natural wind, were used in the experiments to alter theenvironment. Occupants were asked to vote their thermal sensation andthermal comfort during the experiments.The climate chamber research could control the exclusive variable tocompare the different thermal environment. Depending on the experimentsresults, thermal sensation difference between the constant mechanical windand simulated natural wind would be found. What’s more, some especialparameters might be found which could characterize the difference of thedifferent kinds of simulated natural wind.The real office research simulated the occupants’ real thermalenvironment. Therefore, the thermal sensation vote values could be muchtruer. After all, the purpose of the experiments was to find out a much healthier, more energy conservation and comfortable air conditioning controlmethod in summer.In the end, a much more comfortable simulated natural wind was found.And the dynamic air conditioning method was used in the neutral-warmenvironment. Therefore, the energy conservation effectiveness andeconomical efficiency were analyzed to see whether the new method shouldbe applied.
