It has been a trend to achieve fast, long-range and accurate attack in the development ofthe winged missiles. Reasonable and efficient air-route planning for air vehicles is aprerequisite to accomplish this. Consequently, the air-route planning technology has become ahot research topic. Compared with traditional methods, multi-missiles cooperative air-routeplanning is one that involves nonlinear conditions, multi-restrictions and complicated links.The issue is more complicated and challenging.The thesis makes a profound analysis on multi-missiles cooperative air-route planning,and makes a thorough research on multi-objective evolutionary algorithm based on this. Thenthe article puts forward a new multi-missile cooperative air-route planning method based onmulti-objective evolutionary algorithm, and proves the practicability and effectiveness of themethod with simulation experiments.First, the article divides the issue of multi-missiles cooperative air-route planning into tofour parts, namely the setting of the environment, dealing of restraining conditions, objectiveof the planning and planning methods.2D spatial modeling is adopted in the model building of the environment based on thebasic features such as anti-ship missile’s maneuvering performance and technical features.Constraint conditions of multi-missiles cooperative air-route planning is classified as terrainand threatens constraints, ability of flight constraints, and multi-missiles cooperativeconstraints. It analyzes the factors which affect the air-route performance based on theperformance during the accomplishing of tasks, and finally discusses the air-route planningmethods with the traits of multi-missiles cooperative planning.Second, this article illustrates the basic principle of evolutionary algorithm andmulti-objective optimization. It then summarizes the method and traits of solutions bystudying multi-objective optimization algorithm. Based on these traits of the application ofthe planning, the article discusses the reason why multi-objective evolutionary algorithm canbe applied in multi-missiles cooperative air-route planning.Third, the article provides details of how to apply multi-objective evolutionary algorithmin multi-missiles cooperative air-route planning. Based on the traits of anti-ship missiles andthe planning environment,2D spatial modeling is adopted in planning environment setting.Partial constraints are introduced into environment planning, too. A parallel equal divisionmethod is designed to detach the planning environment. Based on that, an air-route initialization measure, which combines the missile’s route and integrates the constraintcondition into the initialized air-route population, is found. The article also provides detailsfor operation and flow diagram of the algorithm according to the flight ability constraints ofmissile, relation among threaten constraints, spatial constraints and attack arriving timerelation, and supplies diverse evaluation indexs for single-population and multi-populationevolutions respectively.Finally, in the condition of Visual Studio2003, a simulation experiment to testify themulti-missiles cooperative air-route planning based on multi-objective evolutionary algorithmis carried out. After the analyses of the results in diverse experimental conditions, thealgorithm mentioned above is certified. It can handle the multi-missiles cooperative air-routeplanning, which is complicated. This method allows us to plan a group of effective andpractical air-routes.
