With the continuous development of electronic science and technology, As a importantelectronic component, capacitor products are diversified increasingly. Aluminum electrolyticcapacitor is the most widely used and maximum amount, which is one of the most popular topicfor the researchers.At present, the aluminum electronic capacitors are improving toward small volume, bigcapacitance, high frequency and low impedance. Because of the traditional liquid electrolytealuminum electrolytic capacitors with the disadvantages of leakage, high ESR, poor temperaturecharacteristics, short life and so on, solid aluminum electrolytic capacitors which made oforganic semiconductor materials, conductive polymer material as the electrolyte has beenexploited. The negative foil is obtained by the method of erode in the solid aluminum electrolyticcapacitor. Because of the oxidation when negative foil is obtained and used, the ESR becomelarge, and the capacitance become low. To prepare a new solid capacitor electrode materials is anecessary condition for solid electrolytic capacitors development.With the slurry method and plasma physics chemical vapor deposition (PCVD) process, weprepare two different carbon/aluminum composite foils. The effect of the, the slurry time of heattreatment, the thickness of carbon layer and heat treatment temperature in carbon/aluminumcomposite foil preparation process has been studied in this paper; in PCVD process, we study theinfluence of the deposition temperature to carbon layer of surface morphology and mechanicalproperties, we also compare surface morphology and the Bad sample proportion of the compositefoils which are made by two different PCVD composite process. The results show, with thecircumstance of carbon layer thickness of20μm, printing coating method, holding time for20hours we can get a composite foil with great fastness degree. After adding catalyst in slurry, therewould be many carbon nanotubes on aluminum foil surface which have good effect to thecapacitor’s fastness degree. The specific capacitance of composite foil is912μF/cm2when thecarbon layer thickness is50μm after heat treatment at600℃for20hours. Inthe PCVD system,the deposition temperature of350℃, with propane to hydrogen than in3to1we can obtain acarbon/aluminum composite foil with good mechanical properties and surface carbon layer.When the deposition temperature over400℃, the mechanical properties ofthe aluminum foilwould be seriously damaged. The foils which are made by PCVD composite process may havebetter comprehensive performance.The carbon/aluminum composite foil which is made by our process is suited for the basicrequirements of the solid electrolytic capacitors electrode materials, it’s a little bit to thedevelopment of solid electrolytic capacitors electrode materials...
