Along with China’s rapid economic development and urbanization accelerated, large-scaleconstruction projects have developed rapidly. For major new projects in new technology,ideas, gradually showing a large scale, technical complexity of many of the flats, and inaddition to meet the traditional quality, functional requirements, in terms of environment,ecology, energy, information also offer higher requirements. The effect of engineering designto a certain extent determine the success of projects, design and management is the mostcritical part of the construction projects link. The design and management of largeconstruction projects involving numerous professional, technical complexity, the participatingunits to determine the different past residential construction, design and management of asingle industrial plant based on this context, this paper attempts to design management oflarge construction projects.Starting from the perspective of the construction side for large construction projects,design and management of research, no longer from the tradition of quality, cost, schedule,point of view, but try the interface from the design and management of large constructio nprojects, information, evaluation set off on three main issues study. First introduced the designmanagement interface, information, evaluation of the basic concepts and theories; andengineering practice and literature, an overview of the problems of design management in theinterface, information, evaluation, and from organizations, entities, contract three analyzes thecause the cause of the problem of design interface management, from the consciousness,organization, specialization, interest angle discusses the cause of the problem of designinformation management, human factors evaluation, the evaluation method of factors given inthe design evaluation of the cause of the problem.Followed by an overview of the above problems, proposed separately by different copingstrategies on the basis of reason analysis. Design interface management, mutual embeddeddesign the organizational structure and team-based project management team, design interfaceconflict coordination mechanism to build the block diagram of the project design contract; inthe design of information management, and enhance the awareness of informationmanagement, and change the information management concept collaboration platform, the establishment of collaborative theory-based design management information, at the same timeraised great importance to oral and informal channels of information; in the design evaluation,establishment of technical differentiation, stability, design management team and try toestablish the project design technology and system integration ideas integrated andcomprehensive evaluation system.Finally, the actual project, for example, combined with the project design features andobjectives of the project design, design management strategies applied to the specific designof the project management, summarizes and analyzes the effects and shortcomings of theproject design and management strategies application made.
