With the rapid development of economy, our country introduces the policy ofencouraging the development of automobile industry. The research related the field ofcar technology causes extensive attention of scholars in gradually. The car body’slightweight and NVH are two important indexes to decided that a car’s structure isgood or not, however, the two indexes are often contradictory, pursuing thelightweight body requests to reduce the thickness of the body or reduce body addedmass as far as possible, which makes body’s stiffness lower, more likely to be outsideexcited to produce strong vibration noise, destroying the ride comfort. At this time, weshould to consider looking for a kind of material which can effectively restrain thebody vibration and does not increase the added mass too mush, piezoelectric materialsis such a kind of intelligent material, it can use its piezoelectric effect on large spatialstructure to control the vibration, that pastes or buries small pieces of piezoelectricmaterials in structure can produce obvious control effect, and which will effect theinherent characteristics of the structure little.After introduces the research background in the field of vibration suppressionand the technology dynamic of the study’s related field research, this paper introducesthe technology that pastes piezoelectric materials PZT on the body’s thin platestructure to actively control the vibration by both the theory simulation andexperimental analysis.In the simulation, this paper sets up the four nodes plate unit laminated plates’finite element model by using of the Hamilton principle, establishes the laminatedstructure’s finite element simulation model by using of the finite element softwareANSYS, conducts the static analysis, modal analysis, transient analysis and harmonicanalysis, and summarizes the related static and dynamic properties of this structure.Then analyzes the control effect of material different geometric parameters, inANSYS transient analysis gets the amplitude data by the feedback control method tosummarize the influence law of parameters, uses the modal strain method to analysisthe paste position of piezoelectric actuators, and gets the effective scattered arrangement plan. In the control scheme, besides using single point feedbackproportional control method, but also study PD control and the independent modalspace control based on LQR (linear quadratic optimal control), compares theirvibration suppression effect.After the simulation analysis, the last part conducts the experiment research, usesthe NI company’s PCI-6229data acquisition card, designs the main control programby using of the virtual experimental platform LABVIEW, builds the experimentalplatform to conduct experimental analysis by using two control method of thefeedback proportional control and PD control. Finally, gets the detailed summary ofthis study, and discusses the technology research’s coming.The simulation and experiment conclusions show that the PZT piece as actuatorscan get good control effect of reducing the vehicle’s thin-walled panel vibration.
