Electric rudder system is a kind of servomechanism in the control system of plane shipand missile. Control system signals can be received and rudder rotation is driven by electricrudder system so as to realize the control of flight attitude and orbit. With the development oftechnology,the control accuracy of rudder is required to be improved. The accuracy built oftransfer function of electric rudder system is the basic of meeting the requirements ofperformance index of system through debugging control circuit. Therefore,it is one of theimportant segments of electric rudder system.Based on the analysis of working principle of electric rudder system controller driverelectric steering gear and harmonic gear reducer the mathematical model of the parts and thewhole system of electric rudder system were developed. By means of collected input/outputdata least square method improved adaptive genetic algorithm and improved particle swarmalgorithm were used to optimize unknown parameters of rudder system. MATLAB simulationresults show that the algorithms have very good recognition effect. Finally,the improvedadaptive genetic algorithm and improved particle swarm algorithm were used to optimizeparameters of electric rudder system in the white noise environment. Simulations illuminatethat the improved algorithms can optimize effectively the model parameters.
