This paper use topographic maps, aerial photographs, historical information, cultural information of the study area(including the Jiufeng Forest Park and Beijing Forestry University), and the site visiting results as study file,then build the 3D modles of the whole study area,including the 6 period of Beijing Forestry University and its serounding landscape based on Google Earth and Google SketchUp. By combining the results of field investigations, after analysis and design, renovated some part of the Jiufeng Park’s landscape, and add them in the form of three-dimensional model to the Jiufeng three-dimensional scene. Establish three-dimensional panorama of six periods of Forestry University, analysis the changes and the establishments of the Forestry University from the perspective of the humanities during nearly 10 years. Establish the three-dimensional in all seasons landscape, publish them on the internet for public viewing and understanding.After compared a series of terrain simulation method, the final selection is direct use the topographic maps on Google Earth, and record the elevation of the study area,then use the image as a base maps for vecting. Do the vectorization and the three-dimensionalmodel establishment in SketchUp, including the three-dimensional model of the surface facilities, area feature models, tree models as well as large quantities of trees texture pasting, all these models are storaged in.skb format.The Jiufeng forest park landscape design based on three-dimensional visualization will improve Jiufeng Park’s recreational function.The establishment of the campus 4-dimensional Geographic Information System shows the history of the campus landscape, revealing the campus cultural and historical changes of the geographical environment. 4-dimensional campus will guide the birth of the 4-dimensional Beijing and play an important role in the urban planning program, at the same time it will take a wealth of information through the network to show the world the whole city.
