To safety assessment and quality inspection of the have been built retainingstructure, the traditional test methods is high cost and low efficiency, and testingprocess is unsafe, looking for and realize the fast and economic detection retainingstructure crack, inner cavity, concrete deteriorating method, is the international anddomestic civil engineering major problems in need of solution, the potential demand ofthe society and the economic benefit is huge.But because of retaining structure thickness is bigger, and modern used to buildretaining structure of the building materials of the reinforced concrete has theuniformity and anisotropic complex characteristics, and testing environment complex,makes the infrared thermal imaging method nondestructive testing technology in civilengineering, especially in retaining structure of the nondestructive testing are not like inother products or structure in detecting common.This paper through the concrete heat transfer theory analysis, finite elementsimulation and field experiments, Proved that the infrared thermal imaging technologycan be used in retaining structure nondestructive testing,and got a different defectscharacter on the influence of the surface temperature field. Therefore,we mainlyresearches the following aspects.1) According to concrete heat transfer theory, thermal radiation theory and the heattransfer analysis of concrete retaining wall to establish concrete thermal physical model.2) Build defective concrete retaining wall structure finite element model, in viewof the different materials, defect depth, and the external environment factors for infraredthermal imaging detection technology influence.3) Through take a picture of the concrete retaining wall of thermal image to formdigital temperature field, and compared with numerical analysis results, proved that theapplication feasibility of infrared detection technology in the retaining structure.4) Establish an easy method to find concrete retaining wall defect of depth.
