The staggered truss structural system research has been more and more attentioncurrently. The domestic and foreign research mostly are the force and the powertransmission way, as well as analyzes its crosswise earthquake resistance performanceand the influencing factor through the finite element analysis and the experiment.However, the longitudinal anti-side rigidity of the staggered-truss compared to itscrosswise anti-side rigidity to be very small. It does not favor the structure the wholeearthquake resistance. As overall construction’s important link, longitudinal rigidityand the crosswise stiffness are similarly important of a reasonable structure, butdomestic and foreign to this research is too few. In view of this problem,This articlestudies the suitable establishment of longitudinal center support and the viscoelasticdamper attenuator in staggered truss structural system. This article unifies31differentstructural models to carry on the research in order to enhance the overall seismicperformance. This article main research content are as follows:(1)Using response spectrum method, carry on the elastic analysis to the staggeredtruss. Obtain the structure longitudinal and the crosswise cycle, the mode of vibration,as well as the layer seismic response displacement, story drift, the maximum vertexdisplacement. And carries on the comparative analysis, draws some practicalconclusions.(2)Use the different longitudinal support programs including support’s differentform and the position and so on. Using pushover method to study structurelongitudinal. Draw its deformation. plastic hinge law and different layout options forstructural seismic performance. Comparative analysis crosswise and horizontal afteradditional support. Provide a reference value for the application of the center supportin the staggered truss structural system.(3)Use the different viscoelastic damper programs including damper’s differentform and the position and so on. Using dynamic time history analysis method to studystructure longitudinal. Obtain the structure longitudinal cycle, vertex displacement,acceleration, story drift and base shearing force and so on. Provide a reference valuefor the application of the viscoelastic damper in the staggered truss structural system.(4)Contrastive analysis the viscoelastic damper and longitudinal center support using dynamic time-history analysis method. Obtains their different influence to thestructure earthquake resistance. Provide a reference value for the application of theviscoelastic damper in the staggered truss structural system.
