Nowadays, environmental protection is of considerable current interest with an increasing attention to human health and the rational use of resources. Oil wastewater is a common biologically refractory industrial waster water that into the environment of plants, soil and water will cause a very serious pollution; the activated carbon material is always used in waste water treatment but recycling seriously restricting its use in environmental protection. How to effectively remove biologically refractory organic pollutants and how to effectively use resources which are one of the most serious pollutants in water is a great challenge issue of environmental pollution control.Electrochemistry method not only is a novel and effective technology for degrading toxic and biologically refractory organic pollutant. And the biologically refractory organic pollutants can be converted into biodegradable components or be incinerated into CO2and H2at ambient temperature and atmospheric pressure. But also is a new liquid phase regeneration technology for activated carbon material. Because of its high specific surface area, excellent adsorption capability, and favorable catalytic and electric capability, activated carbon fiber(ACF) is hopeful to be used as a novel three-dimensional carbon electrode in the wastewater treatment and activated carbon material regeneration technology. Therefore, this paper is mainly to explore and prove that the use of ACF as an anode material applied to oily wastewater adsorption electro-oxidation collaborative processing suitability and feasibility. And explore the operability about the electrochemical regeneration of ACF. Both of the optimum conditions are all found by means of single factor test and combining with optimization of technological parameter. Main conclusions are as follows:(1) Orthogonal experiment results showed that the optimal parameter of ACF adsorption electrolysis method used in oil wastewater treatment are the initial concentration of oil was100mg/L, pH is about3-4, voltage electrolysis is14V, reaction time is120 min, electrolyte concentration is15g/L. Under the optimal parameter, the oil removal efficiency can reach90%and keep about80%after recycling times, environmental protection is of considerable current interest with an increasing attention to human health. The oil removal efficiency improve with increase of ACF surface area. The reaction kinetic followed ln(C0/Ct)=0.0142t+0.3539when used ACF adsorption electrolysis method in the suitable pH, and the rate constant is0.0142, R2=0.9904.(2) Orthogonal experiment results showed that the optimal parameter of electrochemical regeneration of ACF are pH=4, regeneration time is120min, current density is30mA·cm-2, the electrolyte concentration is15g/L, the regeneration efficiency could reach90%and keep80%after five-times continuous adsorption regeneration cycles. No significant damage occurred on the surface of ACF and no significant decrease BET surface area after regeneration. The UV spectra showed that the electrochemical regeneration process was mainly due to the desorption and the decomposition of organics that was generated by electrochemical oxidation.
