In order to solve the increasingly severe MSW problem, and take full use of the energyeffectively in the waste, this paper put forward three possible energy utilization processingprogram on the basis of investigate and analysis the character of the domestic waste inShenyang city, in accordance with the principles of scientific and rational optimization,feasible: domestic waste incineration power generation, the landfill gas power generation andbased on source separation of domestic waste comprehensive utilization, calculated threeprograms’ cost-effective and life cycle assessment.The analysis showed that the MSW production growth rate in Shenyang City is12.5%,much higher than the national average, mainly using landfilling disposal at present; themoisture content is very high, organic waste content up to70.5%, and there is a rising trend;Meanwhile, source activities is significant results; Calculation results show that every tons ofwaste incineration can produce net benefits for83.3yuan according to the1500t/d designprocessing scale; use of the existing domestic waste landfill technology of landfill gas powergeneration, every tons of waste landfill gas can generate electricity15.7kWh, the net benefitsis6.84Yuan/t; Source separation of domestic waste comprehensive utilization of residualwaste for the preparation of RDF, can produce700tRDF finished; organic waste forcomposting,130m3biogas per tons of organic waste, at the same time can produce150kgorganic fertilizer.The presence of moisture in the waste energy utilization process is unfavorable, analysisand calculation of the existence of water on the waste energy process was taken, and proposestwo moisture removal measures: garbage source classification and biological dryingtechnology. Source separation of kitchen waste removed the remaining substances perishableingredients greatly reduce water reduces the calorific value can be increased by50-120%.Life cycle assessment was used to evaluate three energy utilization models, consideredthe energy consumption of fossil energy consumption and power inputs, Global warming, acidification and eutrophication environmental impact system was established. Based on eachkind of environment impact type using characterization factor calculated environmentalimpact potential values, finally get three different types’ environment impacts potentialvalues and the total environment impacts potential values. The evaluation results show thatsource separation of manufacturing RDF comprehensive utilization can maximize use ofwaste energy, every tons of waste can recycle energy1044.2GJ, at the same time minimizingthe impact on the environment, contributed only20%to the environmental impact, so thismodel is suitable for Shenyang city and worth promoting to the national.
