Molecular structure of polyurethane,with a promising application, has become a hotspot in research both at home and abroad due to its regulation performance,physical andmechanical properties, the ability in adapting temperature and Resistance to organicsolvents.It hasa research focus in the counterparts at home and abroad.Research onSynthesis and Properity of Polyurethane Reactive Surfactant Reactive surfactant is a newtype of surfactant which contains hydrophilic and molecular structure, and can take part inthe radical polymerization.It has the advantage that surfactant molecule can bepermanently bonded to colloidal particle after the polymerization process. Meanwhile,emulsion prepared by this surfactant pocesses good qualities in stability, electrolyteresistence and ageing resistance.Based on the points above, this passage is designed to synthetize two different typesof surfactants.The first part of the design, Use polyethyleneglycol(PEG)and2,4-toluene diisocyanate(TDI)to produce polyurethane prepolymer, then put maleic prepolymer with reactivegroups in to produce maleic anhydride type anionic polyurethane reactive surfactant.In thesynthetic process,the hydrophilic oil-wet chain segment ratio is changed and anionicpolyurethane reactive surfactant is characterized with IR and1HNMR.This designfocuses on the surface activity of anionic polyurethane reactive surfactant and researcheson its emulsifying property and viscosity behavior.Results prove that:(1) with the increaseof hydrophilic segment, critical micelle concentration and surface tension of surfactantincreases gradually.(2) the new synthesis of maleic anhydride (anionic) type polyurethanereactive surfactant with polyoxyethylene chain content is higher in molecular structure, sothe surface tension and critical micelle concentration change is different from ordinaryanionic surface active agent, with the increase of temperature, surface tension and critical micelle concentration gradually decreases, but the change is far less than nonionicsurfactant;maleic anhydride (anionic) type polyurethane reactive surfactant due to themolecular structure of acid radical ion, ionization will happen in the solution, so theelectrolyte on the surface tension and critical micelle concentration, ionic strength, thegreater the lower the surface tension and critical micelle concentration;In different pH inthe solution, maleic anhydride (anionic) type polyurethane reactive surfactant under acidcondition of critical micelle concentration and surface tension is greater than in alkalineconditions of critical micelle concentration and surface tension.(3) the new synthesis ofsurfactant Krafft point is gradually increasing with the increase of the hydrophilic segment,20℃,15℃,11℃respectively.(4) the new synthesis of surfactant of good emulsifyingproperties to traditional anionic surfactant SDS, along with the increase of hydrophilicsegment emulsifying performance gradually weakened.The second part of the design,Use polyethyleneglycol(PEG)and2,4-toluenediisocyanate(TDI)to produce polyurethane prepolymer, then put prepolymer withreactive groups in to produce acrylamide type nonionic polyurethane reactivesurfactant. In the synthetic process,the hydrophilic oil-wet chain segment ratio ischanged and nonionic polyurethane reactive surfactantis characterized with IR andHNMR.This design focuses on the surface activity of nonionic polyurethane reactivesurfactant and reaearches on its emulsifying property and viscosity behavior.Results provethat:(1) with the increase of hydrophilic segment, critical micelle concentration and surfacetension of surfactant increases gradually;(2) the new synthesis of acrylamide (ion) typepolyurethane reactive surfactant due to the molecular structure of polyoxyethylene chaincontent is higher, so with the increase of temperature, hydrogen bonding, polyoxyethylenechain of water-soluble, surface tension and critical micelle concentration graduallydecreases;Acrylamide (ion) type polyurethane reactive surfactant molecules in aqueoussolution will not occur in the ionization, so the electrolyte on the surface tension andcritical micelle concentration and the influence of maleic anhydride (anionic) typepolyurethane reactive surfactant is small, compared with the increase of ionic strength, surface tension and critical micelle concentration gradually decreases;Different pH of thesolution of acrylamide (ion) type polyurethane reactive surfactant critical micelleconcentration and surface tension is very small;(3) cloud point is gradually increasing withthe increase of the hydrophilic segment,83℃,86℃and86℃respectivel;.(4) the newsynthesis of surfactant emulsion performance good traditional nonionic surfactant OP-10,with the increase of the hydrophilic segment emulsifying performance graduallyweakened.
