Leachate consists of complex ingredients and it is difficult to be cleaned, which couldcause severe pollution of the soil and underwater if it penetrates into the ground. As anadditive to clean up the soil polluted by leachate, the zeolite has been studied to somedegree around the world. To study different zeolite’s effects on the Ecological Restoration of the soil pollutedby Leachate, researches have been done to compare the Physical and Chemical Properties,Respiration, and Enzyme Activity of the polluted soil after using Acid-Modified Zeolite orComposite Modified Zeolite, which can provide both theoretical and technologicalsupports for the usage of the Modified Zeolite. The researches and conclusions of thisthesis are described as follows:(1) Acid-Modified Zeolite can remarkably affect the pH of the soil, making it declinegreatly; Acid-Modified Zeolite can distinctively improve the Respiration Rate and theCOD Removal Rate of the soil, and obviously inhibit the Ammonia Effects;Acid-Modified Zeolite has an effective inhibition of the Catalase Activity and AmylaseActivity of the soil, and an improvement of the Urease Activity and the Sucrose Activity.(2) Composite Modified Zeolite can remarkably affect the PH of the soil, making itdecline greatly, distinctively improve the Respiration Rate, and obviously inhibit theAmmonia Effects, but it has little effect on the elimination of COD of the soil;Composite Modified Zeolite can effectively inhibit of the Catalase Activity, AmylaseActivity and Sucrose Activity of the soil, and inhibit the Urease Activity firstly before thestep by step improvement of it2weeks later.(3) WB+S Modified Zeolite and S+WB Modified Zeolite have much differenteffects on the Physical and Chemical Properties, Respiration, COD, Ammonia Effects, andEnzyme Activity of the polluted soil.
