The organometallic complexes play an important role in organic synthesis, coordination and material chemistry. With the increasing problems of resources and environment in recent years, development of high active, high selective and environmental-friendly catalysts is one of the hottest topics for chemists. In the view of the above research background, a series of ligands and organometallic compounds were synthesized and applied in reaction with carbon disulfide and catalytic Tishchenko reactions. The details are divided into four chapters and the main contents are as follows:Chapter1. Introduction of the research background of this thesis:(1) studies and applications of imine ligands and their metal complexes;(2) reactions of imido metal complexes with small molecules such as CS2、CO2and R-N=C=O;(3) the research progress of the Tishchenko reaction.Chapter2. Some β-hydroxyimine compounds were synthesized from the reaction of imine deprotonized by lithium diisopropylamide with ketones, and following hydrolysis. The obtained ligands were used to synthesize a series of new aluminium complexes by treatment with AlMe3. The structures were characterized by NMR and X-ray single crystal diffraction analysis.Chapter3. The reaction of imido lithium compounds synthesized from imine and lithium diisopropylamide with carbon disulfide were investigated and the reaction process was discussed.Chapter4. The β-hydroxyimine aluminium complexes were used to catalyze the Tishchenko reactions. The effects of the loading of catalyst, reaction time and temperature were investigated to optimalize the reaction conditions.
