Lattice Boltzmann Method (LBM) has developed in recent decade, and which is a newnumerical method of simulating fluid flow. Compared with the traditional methods,LBM thatbuilt by microcosmic models has many prominent characteristics, such as the simplealgorithm, the powerfully parallel computing ability, dealing with complex environmentconditions, and so on. These advantages attracted a lot of scholars from various fields andcountries to research it deeply. LBM also has a challenge to the traditionally numericalmethod, and provides another inspirational thinking. Maybe LBM can resolve some problemsthat existed in the traditional numerical simulations. In this dissertation, the origination, development and current situation of LBM havebeen introduced, the theoretical knowledge of LBM has been discussed particularly, and themathematical models have been provided. At the same time, the relations between LatticeBoltzmann Equations and macroscopic Navier-Stokes equations, and some commonboundary conditions have been introduced. This dissertation built the mathematical models of leakage processes of oil-watertwo-phase flow of buried oil pipelines at the soil porous media by the Lattice BoltzmannMethod, and the thermal conductivity model of soil porous media. These works have offeredthe mathematical foundations for the future numerical calculations.
