With the development of people’s living standard, people pay more and moreattention to the development of the functional textile when they’re in consumption.Cannabis sativa L fabric had excellent properties of tinggua smooth, fast moisturepenetrability, good permeability, toughness, straightforward, it also had special functionsof antibacterial, dissipation ultrasound, heat insulation. The cannabis sativa L/cottonblended yarn in this paper was chosen as raw materials to design and develop productswith and antibacterium.We spin three cannabis sativa L/cotton blended yarns which have different blendingratios at first, then use the cannabis sativa L/cotton blended yarn (65/35) to develop fourkinds of cannabis sativa L/cotton/spandex elastic core-spun yarn. The mechanical, elastic,initial modulus and dyeing rate of the seven yarns mentioned above and one kind of flaxwere texted and analyzed. According to the requirements of knitting yarn, the knittingpreparation process is discussed and the problem of when breakage strength can not reachthe requirement of knitting yarn, how the process improvement is resolved; Give priority tothe cannabis sativa L/cotton blended yarn, eight different specifications of the hosieryfabric are woven, and their many performances such as bursting strength, wear resistance,flexibility, moisture penetrability, pilling resistance and so on are discussed and researched.The results of study show that: the mechanical properties and pilling resistance of thefabric are raised with the increase of breaking strength of the yarn, surface density andsquare meters of the fabric; the property of comfortable and the link rate are descend withthe increase of surface density and square meters of the fabric; The comprehensive abilityof the fabric which is spun with spandex core-spun yarn is the worst, rather the fabricwhich weaved with cannabis sativa L/cotton blended yarn and spandex core-spun yarn orspandex only have good wear resistance and bursting strength. The anti-bacterial rate ofthe fabric weaved by cannabis sativa L/cotton blended yarn meet the requirement of the GB/T20944.3-2008.Based on the study above, we choose the reasonable weaving parameters, design anddevelop the Anti-bacterial hosiery fabric. Through testing a series of performance, confirmthat the fabric has good bursting strength, wear resistance and moisture penetrability, italso has good Anti-bacterial effect.
