The properties of black carbon aerosol is the important reference to study the absorption characteristics of atmospheric aerosol, the analysis of black carbon aerosols change characteristics and potential source, can use to found the area influencing the black carbon aerosols concentration, and can use to understand the influence factors of black carbon concentration. This paper used MAAP-5012black carbon meter data in August2009-July2011of lanzhou university semi-arid climate observatory and Laboratory master station (SACOL Main) and August2010-July2011of city station (SACOL City) analysis black carbon aerosols change characteristics in YuZhong area and lanzhou area, and combined with the hybrid single-particle lagrangian integrated trajectory (HYSPLIT-4) model and potential source mode analysis the influence of air transport and may source area of black carbon aerosols. This paper first used the black carbon concentration data of Lanzhou city, Combined with the clustering analysis and potential source analysis, simulation the regions which influence the black carbon concentration in semiarid areas of northwest of China, to reveal different areas which has a good effect in black carbon concentration in semiarid areas of northwest of China. We found that when airflow came from the western of SACOL, black carbon concentration is bigger, and the main contribution source of black carbon are north India, the western xinjiang area and Sichuan-Chongqing area.(1) black carbon aerosols concentration range of quality for0.41ug/m3-6.22ug/m3in2009-2010and0.35μg/m3-6.82μg/m3in2010-2011in Yuzhong areas, and0.91μg/m3-14.56μg/m3in2010-2011in Lanzhou. Black carbon concentration Lanzhou city higher than that in Yuzhong area. Diurnal variation of black carbon aerosols mass concentration also presents the double peaks and double valley structure.In Yuzhong area the highest concentration appeared in09:00-10:00, the lowest concentration appeared in16:00-17:00, the second peak appeared in20:00-21:00, but in Lanzhou, the second peak appeared in23:00.(2) There is obviously weekly variation of black carbon aerosols mass concentration in Yuzhong area and Lanzhou city, black carbon concentration is bigger in weekend in Yuzhong area, but it is opposite in lanzhou city. Black carbon aerosols concentration in weekend less than in working days in Yuzhong area in the autumn, three other season black carbon concentration in the weekend is the highest, but in Lanzhou city, black carbon aerosols concentration in weekend is the lowest in all seasons. In Yuzhong area, black carbon concentration is higher in November-January, and in Lanzhou city, black carbon concentration is higher in October-December, the highest average concentration appeared in December, for8.66ug/m3, black carbon concentration reduced significantly from January.(3) Clustering analysis was made in500m,1500m,3000m to understand the influence of different origin for BC concentration, and analyse each combustion efficiency of different origin by△BC/△CO,△BC/△CO2and△CO/△CO2. when three height of the airflow were transmitted from the Middle East, Central Asia and Europe, the concentration of BC, CO, CO2and the amount of△BC/△CO,△CO/△CO2were higher, explaining the lower combustion efficient. The airflow transmitted from north China and central China, the concentration of BC, CO, CO2and amount of△BC/△CO,△CO/△CO2were lower, explaining the lower combustion efficient. Airflow through over YuZhong transmission to lanzhou area, the aerosol properties was influenced when YuZhong Airflow through over Lanzhou transmission to Yuzhong, black carbon concentration is1.19ug/m3and scattering coefficient is133.18mm-1, correlation coefficient of black carbon concentration between lanzhou city and YuZhong area is0.88, correlation coefficient of black carbon concentration is0.80without the airflow passing through Lanzhou city.(4) The black carbon aerosols source distribution of YuZhong area and LanZhou city were basic consistent, mainly in the qinghai to southern xinjiang region, the western of xinjiang and northern of India, but the influence of northern India to YuZhong region was higher than in lanzhou. In Spring the source of YuZhong and Lanzhou were different, qinghai and center of xinjiang were the source of Lanzhou, and the source of YuZhong area mainly concentrated in the center of Sichuan and Yunnan-Guizhou area.(5) The correlation between black carbon concentration and active fire power in northern India northern area, Xinjiang, Qinghai, Sichuan and Shanxi is better for YuZhong, the fire on the day with the biggest influence on black carbon concentration, The correlation between black carbon concentration and active fire power is strongest when it close to observatory,the correlation between black carbon concentration and the active fire power of northern Xinjiang and northern India reaches maximum in the time3-interval to5-interval days; The correlation between black carbon concentration and active fire power in India, Shanxi, Gansu province of sichuan and chongqing area south is better for Lanzhou city, the correlation between black carbon concentration and the active fire power of northern of Shanxi and southern of Sichuan reaches maximum in the time3-interval.
