A Study On The Coal Seam And Coal Coal Quality Characteristics Of The Late Permian From The Jiuyuan Coalfield In Northwestern Guizhou

Coal field in northwestern Guizhou is famous for "Southwest Sea of Coal", in which the coal is characterized with massive, good quality, shallow burial depth and easily mining; coal seams are numerous and complex, during coal exploration, whether coal seams correlation is correct or not will influence the estimation of stability, resources and economic evaluation etc.On the base of Jiuyuan coal mine exploration, detail study of petrographic characteristics of coal has been done, then the petrographic characteristics of coal and coal seams correlation characters are summarized.In the study area, the coal-bearing strata is Longtan Formation of Permian, which is307.41～373.39m in thickness, in average343.04m, and contain29～48coal seams (lines) in total,in average41seams, among which there are12～15mining coal seams, in average13seams. The thickness of coal seams (lines) is21.78～32.12m in total, in average27.14m; coal bearing ratio is6.47～9.20%, in average7.93%. Longtan Formation contains6mining coal seams (M1、M5、M6、M9、M24、M35) of all area, which distribute in the upper, middle and nearly bottom part of Longtan Formation,4mining coal seams (M7、M15、M30、M33) of most areas, which distribute in the upper-mid, middle and mid-lower part of Longtan Formation,10fragmentary mining coal seams (M3、M4、M8、M12、M13、M22、M23、M28、 M31、M37) in some certain palaces, which distribute in each part of Longtan Formation. Through the research, M1、M15、M35are anthracites with medium ash, medium-high S, low-phosphorous and medium calorific value; M9is anthracite with medium ash, medium S, low-phosphorous and high calorific value;M5、M6、M7、 M24are anthracites with medium ash, low S, low-phosphorous and medium calorific value; M33is anthracite with medium ash, medium S, low-phosphorous and medium calorific value. Each seam is characterized with low As, F and all processing properties are high strength, high thermal stability, medium-soft temperature, low reduction rate, weak-medium slagging. Besides, Ml is difficultly selected seam with medium grinding; M6is easily selected seam with medium grinding; M9is medium selected seam with difficult grinding; M15is easily selected seam with difficult grinding; M24、M35is medium selected seam with difficult grinding.The study on the Coal Rocks Characteristics of the Late Permian from the jiuyuan coalfield in Northwestern Guizhou, fond out the Characteristics of the Coal Rocks in this area, in order to provides the basis of the geological in the coal seam comparison、 coal’s development and use。...
